So far this year I have created 13 drawings, using graphite pencils in such a way as to seem like black and white "paintings."  The subject matter is traditional in nature, and for the most part they are near photo realistic, however I deliberately allow the pencil lines to be visible at times, giving my drawings a painterly quality.  I will be submitting more of my drawings in the near future.  Once I have about 25 completed I will be having a one-person show at a gallery in the Seattle area.  Details to be given later.
