Blurps first appeared in 1990's Super Mario World for the Super Nintendo (Also known as the Super Famicom if you lived in Japan) and it later appeared in Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins, Super Princess Peach, Super Mario Maker (Both the Wii U version and the 3DS port) and Super Mario Maker 2. They also appeared in Mario & Wario as a cameo, and while a single Blurp can be seen in the scenery of Deep Blooper Sea in Mario Party 3. In the Mario & Luigi series/Mario & Luigi RPG series, there was a different variant of the Blurps known as Sand Cheeps in both Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions and Mario & Luigi: Partners In Time (Although they were thrown by Shrooba Diver enemies in battle). In the Super Mario World cartoon series in the other hand, a single Blurp only appeared in the episode "Mama Luigi". The Blurps however have not yet appeared in a Paper Mario game or even the most recent Paper Mario: The Origami King for the Nintendo Switch.Super Mario series © Nintendo Co., Ltd.
