My last piece from 2001. The name of this piece comes from a maneuver where you counter a "winding" by raising your sword over your head (in a way called "hanging"). Using your offhand to grasp the meddle of the sword, you can then use the crossguard to "hook" your opponent's right shoulder. You should have the leverage to wrench them into an off-balance position with a twist of your body at the waist at that point, and the fight is all but won.
