Description Many have asked what this is. Well, it's looking right into the end of a limb on a young, long-leaf pine tree. And yes, the needles are wavy like that!

This photo was shot with a Nikon D100, Sigma 70-200, 2.8 lens and an off-brand extension tube. No filters and purely natural, mid-day lighting. Slight color enhancement in PhotoShop Elements.

Very nice deep, rich colors. I would say some spots of focus are a little tight, cutting into a blur, but on the main subject (the outflowing things) it works very well.

LOL...this photo is just the end of a long-leaf pine limb. Not really anything that unnatural...just something I saw one day while I was walking the parking lot at work talk on my cell phone.
