This wind is really picking up fast what's with it?"Ashely!"I heard yelling from out side.It was Miss Hobston from across the road.She's a really nice old lady who I guess treated me like a grandchild.I remember when she offered to take me in, it wasn't her idea it was sherrif Robinson.I hated the idea I put up the biggest fight,but all she did was laugh and said"haha sprited one eh? Let her choose sherrif she doesn't have to but know this girl I'll always be here."That has stayed with me forever one adult promise that can actually be kept."Ashely are you ok!?"She was still yelling.I looked out the curtian."Whaaa old fool you cant be out in this weather what is she doing?"I grabed my coat and hastely put my rainbow shoes on."Miss hobston get inside!"I yelled over the wind.What no stupid God!I saw in the corner of my eye a truck being tossed aside by the wind, but it was heading directly for miss Hobston.I ran with all I could then flew at her and knocked her to the ground.The truck just skimmed the top of my head."What the hell were you thinking!"I burst out in tears an she lent up and hugged me."Shhh child death is a thing no-one can fight so when my time is up its up you got that?"She said it so confidently with a bright smile on her face.How can she say that and not be sad at all?"We all want to live forever but if we did life would be so hard right?Never ending wars and stuff like that would happen."I wiped my eyes and hugged her tighter." I'm sorry Dawn but you are the only person I .... who I can trust now."Her face looked so shocked then she hit me across the head."Now dont you ever say that!Ever one here loves you and you can trust anyone ok?Now come on inside it's going to snow."

Our town was so weird the weather can change so quickly, one minute it could be a heat wave the next its a full on blizzard.Dawn was the only person in the whole town who could sence the change... as well as me.She taught me how to tell the weather she taught me most the things I know."So you want to sleep over here tonight it looks like a full on sto.."" I cant!" I yelled."Sorry Dawn but I I ..I just cant."She looked disheartened but I turned her down every time she asked so I guess we're both use to it."Ok but your staying for dinner you cant live off baked beans you know?"Hahaha she was the only person who could make me laugh."cottage pie alright?"I laughed then said"I dont care I'm starving"She laughed then placed to premade ones in the oven."Hmmm can you sence that Ashely?"Her face looked serious."No is it the storm?"She turned around and said."Ashely as soon as its cooked take it home lock your doors your windows and tonight dont leave.""But why?""Just do it!"She snapped.

This only happened once before and last time the people I loved most died.Last time she told us."Dont go on this car trip Helen."She warned."Hahaha your too paranoid Dawn we'll be fine."My mother said"Plus Ashely would have picked up on something if there was a storm."My father said.Me and my twin brother just played with our toys.Dad started the car but Dawn jumped in front."Huh dawn move we'll be fine."My parents said."No! "Sure dawn I will."She patted me on the back then the oven pinged."Ready?"I asked"Yes now go home ok?"I grabbed a tea towel."Sure dont worry about me ok?"She laughed"I wont just promise me this no matter what happens tonight you will stay inside?"I nodded and she ruffeled my hair.She waved bye as I ran across the street."It's gonna be a bad storm tonight hey Ashely?"The sherrif asked.I didnt look bad I just said"yeah sure what ever."He just shrugged and went back to work.I struggled to open the door as the wind was so strong but i managed.I locked the door behind me and then placed my dinner on the floor while I locked up the rest of the place.I finished after two minutes as I double cheaked ever lock.My dinner had gone slightly cold but it was still edible."Wow that old lady sure can cook." I told my self.I licked up the gravy inside the tray it was that tasty.

I ran up stairs and grabbed my blankets and my teddy with a picture of my family attached.I always use these in a storm it makes me feel extra safe.I switched on the tv the usual crap was on but I watched it any way.It was going on ten oclock and I was about to sleep as I wrapped up with my teddy and the photo beside me,when the phone rang.I slouched up and slowly went over to answer it."Hello Karakuta residents Ashely speaking."I always answer like that even though no-one else lives here it just reminds me of my mum."Yeah uhh we were like wondering if we could talk to a adult little girl k?"The voice on the other end wasn't familiar must be a outside wrong number."Uhh sorry but I think you have the wrong number mate."I replied."Haha no kid we dont."I was confused surely they must know my parents are dead."So can we speak to a grown-up sweety?""Sure but can I ask who's calling?"I heard him tut then he yelled"Listen kid we dont need a freaken secretary just put an adult on now!"I was still confused but I ended the call.What the hell was that huh?The phone rang again I answered."Hello Kara..""Shut the hell up kid just tell your parents they owe us a lot and tonight we shall take it ok?"I froze but then I got really pissed off and yelled."I dont know who the hell you think you are but get the message my parents are dead you moron and this is over."I heard laughter as I put the phone down and unplugged it at the wall.

What was that about?I was so annoyed at them I hate outsiders they just dont get my way.I never liked people really but I'd rather stick needles in my eye than assoisiate with outsiders.I switched the tv off and went up stairs tonight because the call shuck me up.I layed on the carpet floor of my parents room.i began to dose off when I heard a blood chilling scream come from main street.I lept up and ran to the window and peared through the crack in the curtian.I scaned as much as I could see and I saw the sherrif with his gun out pointing at some people.His face looked so scared then I heard a gun shot.No screams nothing? Then suddenly the sherrif fell to his knee's.I saw them surround him all four of them male and they all had scars.I couldn't bare to watched so I crouched down below the window and began to shake.What the hell I I I'm sccaared what for?I slapped myself to knock some sence into me.Then I heard..."Ahhh get off me you brutes!""Dawn!!!"I yelled out of the window.They all turned and faced me then the male dressed in a black shirt and dark jeans said"Well well look who a brave little girl."They all began to laugh but I exclaimed"Shut it!""Ashely no go inside close your window."One of them grabed her by the neck and held her up like he was picking a flower.He was very strong and he looked beat up basically a tough guy.He was strangling her and he looked up and smiled."Grrrr let go of him you jerk!" I screamed at the top of my lungs.The one I believed to be the leader clicked his fingers and the tough guy let go of dawn.I was so shocked what was he let go instantly like he was scared.Dawn fell to the ground in a heap so I yelled."I'm gonna teach you thugs a lesson."

They all laughed I presumed it was because they thought I was weak but I was wrong and I walked into a trap.I ran down the stairs almost tripping on my tattered jeans.Then I rumaged through the crap on the floor to find the key it was wedged between the last weeks magazines and the chocolate wrappers.I flicked to the key and clicked the lock open.I held my body close to the door expecting to be pushed back but nothing.I opened the door then my eyes,oh no again.There was a female not from around here so i assumed she was with them.She had bleach blonde hair in two pigtails which ran down to her legs.She was wearing all dark leather clothing which was tight fitting to her slim figure.It was so neat it cut off at her belly and she had a piercing then the dark boot cut trousers."Hey going to come play with us girly?"I froze up again but then my instincts made me leg it.I slammed the door shut but she put her foot in the way then laughed.I ran to the back door and began to fumble with the keys then I finally found the right one after what felt like an eternity.I opened it to see I was trapped.Another one of those thugs female again but older yet she looked great for her age.She had black hair with a red stripe in and she wore a hoodie with a short cut skirt."Ohh dont worry Ashely we wont hurt you."She spoke in the most calm way it felt kind of relaxing to here but I took some steps back.Only to be caught by the other girl.She put her hand on my shoulder as the other one walked in.The closer the other one came ment that my body began to turn to jelly.Then when she grabbed my hand I collasped to the ground.She flung me over her shoulder and carried me out as if I was some kind of trophy."Hahaaha I knew you could do it blaze."The leader said.He didn't look the scariest but he had black or dark brown spiked hair and a slick smile.He dressed the most swave out of them all but he didn't act it.

She put me down in the back of a van then closed up.I heard them geering and cheering out side but couldn't really see much.I found a gap and peered out to see them.I saw them do the most horibble unforigving thing.They slaughtered Dawn as if she were a cow they toar at her throat an the leader licked the blood dripping from her neck.Then he kissed the on he called blaze.I looked away and shivered in fear,in sadness,in the dark and alone again.They all began to enter the van but Blaze rode in the back with me.I still couldn't move so she bounded my arms and legs together.Then she wiped her mouth then she leaned down and said."I'm sorry but death comes to all of us."Thats what Dawn told me."Sorry wont cut it."I murmured as I cried.She again lent down but this time she wiped the tears from my eyes.For a bad guy she was too compassionate."Cheer up."She burst out with a laugh."Your life is about to change Ashey for the better."She said with a smile on her face she reminded me of my mother.I stared at her for a while then she leaned down and hugged me."Sorry please forgive me."She said as she cried.I noticed and said"Hey its ok dont cry life doesnt need any more water."She giggled and so did I.She let go and as she did I slipped off into the most relaxed sleep ever.
