Description My take on Michael Moorcocks Elric, shortly after receiving the sword "Stormbringer", unaware yet of its full powers.

I like to thank my wife for her inspiring help in the making.

I realise that this critique relates to a piece completed a long time ago, however I was very struck by the image so felt compelled to write about it.
Firstly I have to say that you possess great skill as an artist and as all artists do when portraying a fictional character you present it as it sits in your imagination. So who could criticise something that can be imagined in a thousand different ways by a thousand different people yet still remain within the bounds of the descriptive narrative.
In my mind one of the most famous of fantasy creations is a somewhat androgynous character with a very pronounced elfin like facial bone structure (imagine Bowie in the Ziggy days.) The costume is superbly presented though not what I would expect to see (more suited to a vampire prince than a fearsome warrior.) 'Stormbringer' is an absolute triumph, perfectly represented as most would imagine it. The overall quality of the painting is marvellous as it is in many of your pieces. Looking forward to viewing many more on DA.
