This is a commission for , who wanted a picture of Kitsune demonstrating her thieving abilities on Inspector Ishida. Curiously, he insisted that it be hand-inked and the original sent to him physically, which was surprising, but of course I did.Now, I haven't hand-inked in FOREVER and I personally think it shows in frustrating ways, and I really only had very few different thickness pens I used. Part of me wants to digitally ink and clean this up, to be perfectly honest, but i won't.
It was fun to try and draw Ishida though. Given how often I draw female characters, as anyone following my gallery has no doubt noticed, I haven't drawn many Usagi-style men, and Ishida is a real fun character with his short stature and gigantic, bushy brows. It helps that he's also just generally awesome. So this was a lot of fun.
And hey, commissions are extra fun when you get to draw a character you already love - like Kitsune.
