Description
Up in the air, balloons do floatFilled with helium upon a string
Attached to nothing, no one, nowhere
Freely airborne in its oxygen playground
Able to see all the scurrying people
But not having to give any care
Because, quite frankly, itβs floating above them
Into the earthly atmosphere
A farce to be fathomed, those balloons up there
If only someone could go against the masses
And look up, pass the clouds, into the sky
To see that sight of floating balloons
And smile a bit for having seen
Just a bit of surrealism in spite of reality

gosh, you are a poet, and a very very good one at that - I especially like the last line - the closing . . . I always have trouble closing, myself.
bravo!

I like balloons. Around the fair time, I like watching them escape the hands of it captors and fly away
