Description
Little Miss IdleSittinβ Over There
Some Say Yes
Some Say No
She Says Maybe...
Ever So Innocently
Then Time Comes
Time For War
Gunfire Bursts Through
Facades Of Rust
Smoke Barrels Bluntly
Against Body Mounds
Fire Disfigures Windows
Smoldering Homes Collapse
Upon People Inside
Soldiers Called Brave
Fall With Shouts
Shouts So Loud
Heard Over Screeching
From Inevitable Death
Blood Drips Eerily
From Fresh Wounds
Medics Fail Brilliantly
At Reviving Soldiers
And Breath Twitches,
Fades Into Echoes
Rain Comes After
To Wash The
Stray Body Parts
Into Gutters Of
Unclean, Gritty Ire
And She Sits
Ever So Fidgety
Little Miss Idle

Cool style, it was a nice exercise! The poem itself is good too, I like how you juxtaposed (whoa, big word!) Little Miss Idle with the idea of war. You're a pretty good poet, Kenji!
