Description
Silence echoes throughout the audienceLike a heavy mist
No more are words nor actions
Only silence, only silence
The stage is set
Playful points of light
Appear neither dramatically nor innocently
They have come to make a show
For fun, for fun
Of their dancing spectacle
They begin to move in flawless patterns,
Trickling down like quicksilver
On the riparian of the faceless stage
Seemingly dewdrops, seemingly dewdrops
Listening to their silent hymn
These lights contain
Neither color nor luster
Neither size nor scale
Merely lights, merely lights
Capture the like of the people, hidden in shade
And then the lights with no color
Begin to compile and gather
They become a fabric of their own
Endlessly working, endlessly working
Weaving a face for the faceless stage
A single persona they have become
Giving the face, the gift referred as life
Presenting it to the once faceless stage
A modest face, a modest face
With laughter etched into every wrinkle
Suddenly, the lights just disappear
And the mist lifts the unfathomable crowd to its feet
A single thanks can be heard
Through the silence evermore, through the silence evermore
From the face of a certain stage
