Description
There is a doorIn a hallway
Somewhere in a house
Where something lies
About close fate
And windows glint in moonlight
There is a door
Sum number far away
Undoubtedly there
For purpose of open
And sometimes close
In a random mixture
There is a door
Which has a name
Unless it doesn’t need one
A title kept secret to the grave
Some may keep
For purpose of a sleep
There is a door
Where some may lay
To think a thought
And when the thought is good,
Reach out to snatch it
Just for keep’s sake
There is a door
That many seek
With eyes that burn as wood
Some chat about it
Some dream about it
And some may force action
There is a door
Which vaguely states,
“If one would wish to enter me,
Merely swing a limb
To seize a moment
And peace will welcome you in”
There is a door
Simply, not merely a door
But a door nonetheless
Which kind of door?
Where is the door?
Even I am thinking thus
For a thought to float on by,
So that I may grab it in my hand
To enter a door yet
Simply, not merely a door
