I've slammed Transformers Animated a bit on the web in the past. However, I've been watching the show in secret and I guess it's time to come out of the closet.I love this show!
Even though I swore never to watch it, my curiousity drew me in and the pure unadulterated fun of it all kept me hooked.
So. The moment I never thought would come to pass;
I present to you my first piece of Transformers Animated fan art (featuring Bulkhead and his wrecking ball of doom)

TFA is a lot more fun than one might first think.. and Bulkhead is just an awesome character

Transformers: Animated=cash in on Transformers the movie(2007). With it's brain warping mishmash of both G1, Beast Wars, and the 2007 Movie's storyline you have quite the strange beast indeed. Well the last few animated Transformers shows(heck after Beast Wars what much mattered?) did suck in various ways, not saying that the brand sucks but those series(save for Beast Machines, but let us never talk about this subject ever again) were imports and at best poorly translated/edited/formated for our(market/country/"way of life") consumption.
It is a bit of a throw back to G1(1984), yet fresh(with the "All-Spark" and all). I've seen only a bit of the pilot episode and three full episodes and found them ok. The look of the series may be looked at in the way that Windwaker's look was so abrupt compared to previous Zelda games and the Gamecube Demo we saw with a Cool showdown, that really must have been a Smash Brothers demo.

But yeah, on the actual piece. XD I love the scuff marks and the little dents. They're awesome little details that add realism. The shine and the highlights, and the blur on the motion of it, too. That there's such a wide distance on the wrecking ball really shows just how in control he is of it here as well, though his expression might say otherwise; like he meant to hit or aim for something else and realized that things aren't exactly going to go the way he's hoping, here. XD

wow they should hire you onto the show....this is awesome!!! it's like they just said, "Hey, how can we take something as awesome as Transformers and make it into a piece of crap?" And then someone said, "I know, let's take a big steaming shit on it!" And they did and what came out was Transformers Animated.

I dunno, but it was humorous, I don't dig the art yet, but eh, I'll give it another try. So is it really that bad that you've been in hiding? (Sighs) Well, everything gets redone every once in a while, hopefully this isn't THAT bad...

It's like I've been trying to tell my boyfriend, it's not bad, albeit the animation is horrible to a fans' eyes but the story arcs are actually interesting; if only he can see it the way I do X)

What is even cooler, though, is the fact that you admitted to being wrong about the show (though I have never seen it, personally), it says a lot about you. You could have just never admitted to liking the show; but you did the honorable thing. Bravo!
