Well recently in the Series,the Allspark has dispersed into fragments,being a free for all search for Autobots and eventually Decepticons.

Let's see,a show about shard collecting...hmm.

As for the Allspark fragments,they range i size and how many are out there is not known.

Vast numbers

It was already used for the following things

To create life and self awareness(The machines and Starscream)
Can grant power(The speeding train)
Is alluring to both good and evil(The Autobots searching for it,Starscream searching for it)

You get the idea that the Allspark pretty much acts like the Shikon no Tama from InuYasha.The only difference of the two is that the Jewel from InuYasha was alive.
