Completed personal art, woooo!
With my job things have been harder to work on, but I managed this and god I love how it turned out!

Odd (left) and Muse (right) have been two characters and I have had a lot of fun developing story and interactions for recently!
And this was just a random visual that I had after we decided they weren't going to be friends! So have a not so friendly passing by of the two in some night store stretch!
Odd just minding his own business, Muse still bein' a jerk.

A short version of their stuff is as follows
Muse and Odd started out on neutral, and even friendly terms. However, Muse is nothing if not an opportunist and he wanted to have Odd (mainly Odd's power) on his side. So over time he discovered that, Odd, with his great cosmic power, is simply apathetic to the whole thing. Muse can't comprehend this, so he pushes Odd to try and care more about the power and actually put it good use (by his terms anyway). Odd doesn't care for this, and the two end up in a fight. No one wins, but Muse gets a glimpse of the inside of Odd's mouth when Odd loses control, and gets a taste of the power level that he truly has. Odd essentially is a controlled black hole. Because Muse isn't human, he doesn't end up going insane, but it messes him up pretty bad for a while.

Muse finally had to do something he'd never done before. He had to admit he was in over his head and flee before Odd ended up going nuclear from a lack of control. Since then he's realized that Odd could essentially be the beginning of the entropy death of the universe, and he should NOT mess with such a cosmic horror, despite desperately wanting to. Over time this turned into hatred towards Odd.

However, if either of them were truly in trouble, the other would help. Muse would help because he knows what Odd is, and despite himself, he fears what could happen if Odd ever ended up out of control. Alongside that, maybe, just maybe, he remembers Odd being a friend to him and introducing him to boba tea with shining sparkling eyes.

Muse hates himself for everything as much as he hates Odd. With everything that happened between them, this could very well be the only time he's ever felt regret in his entire life. The one time he feels like he may have been wrong, and he hates Odd for these emotions.
