Description A couple of spy ships returning from a mission. Daylight make these crafts extremely vulnerable to enemy interception because they have limited defenses aside from the rear mechanical tentacles tipped with titanium blades.

The tentacles are a defense mechanism against scavengers. They can sell many of the ships parts very easily on the black market. The scavengers use harpoon type weapons to latch onto the spy ships and bring them down for deactivation. The tentacles make this process extremely difficult since the metal in the blades can easily cut through the harpoon cables.

Awesome yet again, your work is very impressive. I love the blue ion-drive propulsion system, or whatever you would call it. My only suggestion is that we only really have a good image of the foreground ship, the one in the middle distance is all shillouette and shown from a pretty plain angle and the one in the background is just a blur. Other than that, this rules. Very nice work and very detailed render, love the texture work.

Very starwarsish, yes, but I like it. It's a good deal what theoretical spacecraft look like in planning stage nowadays, actually. The skydroids now, are gorgeous. I like the detail on the closest one, but the distance between them isn't very complimentary composition wise. Nice, though.

The ship is awesome. The modeling, texturing and lighting really come out well on it. A very convincing image.

I also like the slight blur of the background. Adds depth well.

Great work !

hey man... u gota give me that wall texture

hehe...

the glows on the engines.... if that's what they are needs work... the strange reflection of the formost ship seems to take away from the over all blockiness of the scene

Beautiful work man as usual, i love seeing modellers take their base model, and give them personality, by creating an environment + story to go with it.

I would have liked the tunnel to be sharper, maybe it's the DOF but it just doesn't seem right. The lighting is very cool, with the overwhelming source at the end of the tunnel.

now if only you could render this at a 2304x1024 resolution, id use this as a wallpaper (dual monitor)

Whoa!! This one is even better than the green one. You can see in this render the complexity of the scene. The ships look better than in the other version. Great job!

it looks very much like the sentinels in the Matrix.. I like that..

But maybe you should make the tunnel round, and in a another texture.. Maybe make a bend in it..

And from the back, make a couple of spotlights from a unseen craft ..

Heh.. I imagine too much...

i like the ships but i don't like what they're flying into, too star wars ish.

Though the contrast does make the sleekness of the ships standout.
