Description

Stuck with another bizarre murder case, Amnesiac Detective Waylon Wolfmaine looks around the scene with his Forte: Evidence Tracer, in an attempt to find clues that could lead to a single culprit, but so far he can only get ideas as to how the crime was committed. The Death God he formed a pact with Nidhogg, going by the alias of Zyren, is trying to support him and ensure all of his thoughts are more organized for the upcoming Mystery Labrynth.

Evidence Tracer: Allows Waylon to see what the culprit of the crime has touched as handprint or fingerprints on the objects themselves, regardless of whether it was used in the crime or not.

Waylon Wolfmaine: A Master detective who one day woke up in a collapse mine with no memory of who he is, only being able to obtain his name and parts of his identity through his Detective Deed. He was supposedly sent to Lightshade Valley among other Master Detectives to investigate unsolved mysteries revolving around the shady dealings of the tech conglomerate, Pulse Industries.

Nidhogg / (Zyren): The death god who formed a pact with Waylon, he was asleep in a Book of Death that was buried in a nearby mountain for over hundreds of years before Waylon found his book and made a pact with him. He is rather calm and more level headed then the often panicked Waylon, but still cares for his master and does what he can to assist and console him both outside and inside the mystery labyrinth.

I love Master Detective Archives: Raincode so much. It was the first Danganronpa-like game I actually played (cause I had the system for it) and I had a blast with how much fun the gameplay, story and mysteries really were. I hope the success of this game will allow them to make more in the future and expand upon it. Out of the joy I had for the game, I made this little AU picture with my own characters playing roles in the world of MDA.
