Another step along the Super FamiCom/SNES scale. This particular version was primarily used in North America. The "four button" Super FamiCom/SNES symbol was dropped, and instead of four unique colours, the XY buttons were rendered a sort of lilac while the AB buttons were more purple.

This is the version with which I'm most familiar. I never owned one, but I had enough friends who did that I spent many an hour with it.
