Chaotica 1.5.8 - one render, with two xaos loops.

It's been a while since I've had time to fractal and I'll try to catch up on everything here on DA this coming week. Moved my daughter to Missouri with me yesterday- nothing like a couple of 15-hour drives to start off the summer! Spent all day yesterday stuck in a Hyundai Accent with a teenager, a dog, and two cats. But it's another step closer to being settled, so I'll take it!

Since I got all that done, I took some time today to explore opacity settings in Chaotica. Unlike apo (as far as I know), opacity in Chaotica isn't a simple Boolean variable- it's much more flexible than just "on" or "off". Which means you can more or less layer different components by adjusting opacity values- especially if those components are on their own xaos loops. This image was made with two "layers" - with the globe set to an opacity value of 5, and the background set to 1. 14 xforms total.
