Description Here is the updated version of Lixazillth. Her line art form is floating around here too. Lix here wanted to be a war prince, much like Aldrea. When she aquired the ability to morph, Lix found a small male who wanted nothing to do with war and "traded" lives with him. He took on her form permanently, so no one could ever make him become a warrior. Lixazillth, however, demorphs every two hours, allowing herself much more freedom of form.

On the dome ship she is assigned to, Lixazillth falls in love with a clydesdale-sized male Andalite named Jeodayn (for short) who is the living representation of a gentle giant. Jeodayn prefers not to fight, but once engaged, he never loses. The two feel a mutal bond, but because they are both "males," Jeodayn, at least, assumes it is purely brotherly love. Lixazillth knows otherwise and lives in constant yearning to be with Jeodayn.

Because her male morph is small in stature, Lixazillth becomes a pilot, while Jeodayn is part of the ground troops. Their dome ship is soon called in to help battle on the taxxon home world, where Jeodayn is fatally wounded. Lixazillth lands her small fighter next to his dying body (after shooting up the taxxons that would have gladly eaten him) and, realizing that Jeodayn is going to die, confesses her undying devotion to him and her true identity. Their love is realized at last. As his last request, Jeodayn asks her to aquire his genes and to live on in his stead, becoming the great warrior of her dreams. She solemly pledges her word and then leaves his body for the taxxons, who will easily destroy all evidence that the real Jeodayn no longer exists.

In the end, Lixazillth does become a great hero, and when the great war is over, proclaims the truth of her gender to her people. Lixazillth's rash actions usher in a new age of equality for male and female Andalites.

Very cool. Well balanced. I'd say, in my far from expert opinion, that you have talent.

Whoa, awesome Andalite. And the story sounds really interesting too. Did you color her with oil pastels?

Thanks! I colored her with Prismacolor Colored Pencils. I love how smooth they can come out!

Oh. I hear good things about Prismacolor but I never use them. I just use some of those flowery colors found in color by number boxes.

I love the Prismas- I just wish they weren't so pricey. But, I guess that's how it goes. .n_n.

Hey, thanks!

She seems to be my most popular work; I'm never sure whether it's the story or the image. ^_^

So glad you found and enjoyed- but even more glad that you left a comment.

Thanks so much!

she's so beautiful. I really miss Animorphs! I still have the Hork-Bajir Chron thou, it was the best one I read!

Thank you very much. I loved the Hork-bajir chronicles. It's probably my greatest source of inspiration for this piece.

Thanks for stopping by- and especially for commenting!

Yea! And I also want to commend you on such a powerful background story, I reread it maybe three times now. You should make fanfiction! I'm going to be rereading Animorphs soon, but fanfiction is such a great source of entertainment. I can't find the books anywhere but Amazon, so I have to wait for em to be shipped..ah, well!

Lovley work!!

Wow. Very nice, and a very nice story to go along with it! I don't suppose you have an "official" story for it anywhere?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

eurudite In reply to starscream64 [2006-04-04 15:26:05 +0000 UTC]

The story is buzzing aroung in my head. I didn't think anyone would ever want to read a fanfic of the animorphs, so I hadn't put it to paper yet. Of course, the response I have gotten to this piece may be some incentive!
