On October 29, 1977, we rode one of Southern Railway MS Mikado #4501's Excursions over the Irondale District from Irondale AL to Atlanta GA. Soon, we're outside of Dalton GA as we pass a Southbound Manifest Freight heading for New Orleans LA led by 4 SD40's. It was raining that day, but that didn't stop us from catching some great shots.evangaines 2023
