...Well, now learning about Blaze's part concerning her flames...
Β Β Β Β Β Β Remember Blaze's blow-ups from previous issues/this issue?
- Not wanting Silver being a part of her life after the Arabian Nights arc, hurt that he lied to him. They're very close.
- Lashing out at Metal Sonic for attacking her; out of self-defense, but so violently it's frightening.
- Nearly giving Shadow a no-holds-barred beatdown for attacking her family/Silver, before the latter caught her and Sonic retrieved Shadow.
- Hypocritically chastisingΒ Silver from keeping the GOTF plot a secret from her; even though she never told Silver about her flames. However, both were hurt after they kept secrets from one another.Β
I get the feeling after accidentally murdering her mother (Looks like a spark got loose. ba-dum-tss*shot*), Blaze had always attempted to stay in control. Her powers have this solved, but her emotions don't. Perhaps there will come a time in GOTF where Blaze faces this flaw. Maybe after going insane. I don't know, we'll have to see what you have in store.
I have to say that Blaze's character and flaws are handled very well in SEGA stories and in GOTF. She does it at the right moments where it seems serious matters are pushing her buttons. Not like Amy, who gives off the vibe of bad temper management. Props to you, Evan Stanley!
