Ghosts of the Future, Issue 5, Page 1.Aaah! The Most Hated One returns! But remember, she's Schehrazade in this comic. NOT Elise. And I think she's fun to draw, even if she did kiss Sonic.
THOSE ARE NOT THE FLAMES OF DISASTER, EITHER.
But I'm not tellin' what it is. (What other little flames have these been in the Sonic series, Secret Rings players?)
The text might be hard to read... try reading each block as if it was a comic book panel and you should be okay.

And yes, her lips do look a little...odd. And I can't really read the swirling words around her. (even on full view) (The other ones on the side read just fine)

I'd say that anybody who hates Elise to the extent of name calling needs to get a grip. 'Sides, Sonic Team was intent on interspecies relationshippin' since Sonic Rush (Madonna, the "Mary Shelley" backstory, etc.) And 'sides, it's not like Sonic is your ordinary hedgehog.
...People hate on Princess Sally so Sonic can't get any with her and people hate on Princess Elise because she actually got ON a base with Sonic. The moral? Don't pair Sonic up with ANY member of a royal family.

Just so you know, I don't personally hate Elise, and the only thing I don't like about her kissin' Sonic is that she's a Human... and Amy was standing RIGHT THERE, for pete's sake.
And I can't figure out why, but she's really fun to draw for me.

Well, Elise is a human, but then again, Sonic is more of a human than an African Pygmy hedgehog. Not that I'm saying that a human/anthro relationship is right, but nobody ever stops to think that Knuckles/Rouge or Cream/Tails could be sick and wrong. IT'S CROSSBREEDING11!!! Nothing in the game up until the point of the kiss ever stated that Elise had wanted to be in a relationship with Sonic, so for all we know, Elise could've kissed Sonic because she didn't know what else to do.
Amy was the only one to hint that Elise might be in love with someone, but she never really knew. She helped Elise to bust out of prison and was rooting for her to find a guy that was right for her...so I suppose she was a bit friendly with Elise. At the end after Sonic, Silver, and Shadow beat Solaris and everybody was celebrating, she was right there with him, which would indicate that Amy didn't find any kind of romantic context in it or considered it a "necessary evil". There doesn't seem to be a need to worry about petty things such as a kiss when the entire world is at stake.
And considering that a few moments before the kiss, she was running around from constant monsters and one hit kill floating eyeball freaks, and before that, she was bawlin' her eyes out, it really does not leave a lot of energy for kicking somebody in the face. xD
Thank God for reboots, is all I have to say. XD
Yes, she is quite fun to draw, if not because of her being your usual Sonic anthro...it's the dress for me. And the legs. XD

Yeah, you're right.
The inter-species pairing of characters-- it seems to me that the differences between Sonic character's species are mostly cosmetic... But to be honest, it's one of those things that just gets weird if you think about it too much.

Okay, read all of the comics now (instead of studying, which means I deserve to have something really heavy falling on my head, probably) and I really, really admire your work. There is such a lot of progress in between issue 1 and 5, too! I love the colour PLUS the story. The expressions are amazing, as are the poses and the huge action panels when they show up. I am so putting you on dev watch. Sonic deserves to live, and maybe we'll see Knux and tails in satsr, too? I am currently writing an adaption of SatsR and have Amy and Shads in there as characters...but I'm rambling already. Final words:

Thanks! I draw these things instead of studying, so we both should get the heavy-object-on-head treatment. And yes, Tails, Knuckles and Shadow, along with Blaze and Rouge, are going to appear in this story arc.

A brand new chapter in the GOTF series ^^. I never liked Elise personally myself, there were alot fo things for the 2006 game I didn't much care for (the voice actor thing being on the top of my list...) but still, you did a nice job on her ^^. I wonder what will happen next.
