That's better - the same image, but post-worked. (Just got myself Photoshop CS5). I like the new HDR postwork option!Related content

Very Nice !! really Dreamy !!! ... this because of lighting i guess !!
How the Forest fades to dark and fog is amazingly mystical
If you can , up a picture that shows the in-program wireframe or not finalized image in the application process , if not...
Q : what is 3D app you have used and/or plugins you composed !?
Thq

Thanks! It's really simple - I used Vue 8 Infinite and Photoshop. No plugins, or anything special.
I loaded up a simple infinite terrain, and got my camera in the right position. I loaded up a sea plane, and brought it up to the right level (enough to create a few lakes in the infite terrain). On the terrain itself, I applied a very basic dynamic ecosystem - just a couple of types of trees and some rocks to scatter the trees a little. Then I loaded up and placed the models - the temple, the airship and the sailing ship. Then I played with the lighting and cloud effects, adding a few low clouds to obscure the distant infinite terrain. Rendered, then imported into Photoshop to add some details to the clouds and play with the lighting.
The final rendered image before photoshop can be seen here: [link]
