as a FtM trans guy on a very basic state health insurance plan, learning that i'll be able to get Testosterone shots without having to spend hundreds of dollars on it really makes me feel like i can finally start becoming who i was intended to be.the road on this path has been less than forgiving. i always worried that i wouldn't be able to start treatment because of the costs, but learning that there are affordable options, it feels like the path is starting to get smoother.
