Gaara was sitting on the swing like always when a girl with [h/l] [h/c] hair ran to him. ,,Hey you, do you want a cookie?" Gaara looked up and saw the girl's smile. She was holding a pack of cookies in her hand. But the thing that confused Gaara the most was the smile. Children would normally throw rocks or insult him. But this girl was different. She was smiling and offering him cookies. ,,Why?" he asked. ,,Huh? So you don't want to. Nobody wants a cookie from me." Gaara mentally cursed himself. The girl turned around and walked away. ,,W-wait!" he yelled and ran up to her. She sadly turned to him. ,,I meant to ask you why do you talk to me, because nobody really does." Gaara quickly said. The girl's face brightened. ,,They don't? Meanies! Why exactly?" Gaara's face hardened. ,,Because there's a monster sealed in me." he quietly replied. The girl began to laugh. ,,What? A monster! Hahahahaha! All I see is a very cute red panda." Gaara blushed madly. The girl hugged him and said ,,I'm [y/n]! Nice to meet you Panda-san!" she giggled. ,,I'm Gaara." he blushed. ,,What a cute name! So do you want a cookie?" she asked once again.
And then they talked only about cookies, how good they are and what would happed if [y/n] and Gaara lived in a big Cookie Town, that is full of cookies. They also began to know each other better. In the evening, they were forced to go home. ,,Will I see you tomorrow Gaara-san? [y/n] asked. ,,Of course." he said. ,,Hey! Smile Gaara-san! Pandas look cuter when they smile!" [y/n] lifted up the corners of Gaara's lips. ,,Better!" she giggled. ,,See you tomorrow my dearest friend!" [y/n] smiled, waved and ran off. ,,Friend..." Gaara whispered and for the first time he truly smiled.
*Le Time Skip*
,,Gaara-san! It's nice to see you!" [y/n] just returned from a mission and bursted into Gaara's office. She wasn't different from her young self, always making Gaara smile. ,,Hello [y/n], how was the mission?" Once he asked that, she was unstoppable. She told him every detail. She always did that. Gaara only smiled and took something from the drawer.
,,Hey [y/n]."
,,Yes Gaara-san?"
Gaara put a pack of cookies on the desk.
,,Do you want a cookie?"
