Made by yours truely. I welcome comments and CONSTRUCTIVE criticism.The figure is actually a model I made from concept art for the upcoming movie Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. I am not quite sure why I chose to portray Marvin (thats his name) by a gravestone, it was just an idea that popped into my head.
1920x1440, 1600x1200, 1280x1024 and 1024x768 versions included in the zip file.

Did you do this is just photshop or some 3d program since it just amazing i no you got the model the that film you mentioned but it looks like you did more in photoshop since it dont look too much 3dish but its awesome i love the style

Marvin by the gravestone is fitting actually... he was left on that one planet for several millenia.... yeah... and he's like an emo guy... all like "blah" and shizzle... keep up the good work

This piece of work is absolutely WONDERFUL. I saw him and imemdiately recognized him as Marvin, the insanely angsty and depressive robot. Then I read your description and found out he was really supposed to be Marvin. I've been a fan of Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy since 1998 and in fact I just began re-reading the entire series yesterday. I'm currently on the Restaurant at the End of the Universe. Ford, you're turning into a penguin! Stop it. +fav

This is excellent - nice work and congrats on the well-deserved DD. It's a pity the thumbnail doesn't do much for it (as is the same for any minimalistic piece) but of course, this also works in your favour to an extent, since deviants will be pleasantly surprised. The dA green is far from appealing to me, but I'd put up with it just for the cool robot dude. Nice work indeed. One suggestion: bigger resolution! I realise it's easy to make it bigger, since the bg is just flat colour, but the little robot dude is too small on a 1600x1200 screen.
