Relicanth in it's natural habitat of underwater encounter grass.

Relicanth is another of my favorite pokemon, and like Farfetch'd, it's unevolved and doesn't exactly distinguish itself on the battlefield. It does get both Rock Head and STAB Head Smash, which is a great combo. It was also one of the few things that could be found exclusively by diving when it was originally introduced, which was cool. And it has the unique ability to find the Regis... Yeah. >_> Mostly I love the concept behind this one. It is unofficially one of the fossil pokemon despite not being revived from a fossil because it's based on the coelcanth, an animal often called a living fossil.

I think my use of the perler palette may have failed poor Relicanth. The contrast between his main body color and his lighter spots is much less pronounced than it should be.
