Here's another fan redesign, this time of the eponymous Poriferan himself.

Everyone knows who this young, naive, optimistic, poriferan fry cook is, even people who haven't seen the show should know him, so I won't get into his backstory like with Plankton . So, in this redesign, I decided to actually give him a proper body since cephalothoraxes are pure anathema to me, and since sea sponges are hermaphroditic, I decided to give him some feminine features like a curvier figure to best portray that. I also decided to portray his mouth as another hole on his body, as for his buck teeth, I couldn't really figure out how to go about adding them but, rest assured if I make any more artworks using this design, I'll try to add them. Like most sponges, he uses his pores to help filter out plankton from the water, so in a way, he's always eating. Since sponges don't have eyes, I chose not to give this redesign any either, instead giving him protrusions on his head that give the impression of hair obscuring his face. As for what species he is, I'm still trying to figure that out.
