His eyes are so arresting. Tell me, did you use any sort of special lighting techniques to make them as striking as they are? The emotion in his face is astounding. His pale face suggests his innocense that is slightly tainted because of his freckles. His eyes hold a great maturity in them, leading me to think that he's actually already lost his innocense. They're so livid and powerful and aren't naive as we usually perceive 8 year olds. The thing he's holding onto [a skinny tree trunk?] is kind of like a physical representation of the tension and rough feelings inside of him, or a representation of a grudge.
He's so handsome!

thank you so much! Umm, the lighting was natural. I just shot it from a bunch of angles so it would be clearest. This just happened to work out the best.

haha, when I dodge eyes I either: a) say I do or b) make it so obvious that I don't need to say anything.

He really is very expressive for his age. His emotions shine through his eyes.
