His face seems older, more matured, than in earlier photos. It's betrayed though by the angle at which he must be slouching in order to appear so vertically challenged. His head barely meets the top of the seat behind him. Le gasp!
With such a level of contrast, looking into that face, I can't help picturing a realistic portrait of Pig Pen from Peanuts. It brings a smile to me.
