***Disclaimer: I DO NOT OWN any of the first sprites in each line, each of these sprites were taken from 's showcase of their progress of sprites, a few years ago I decided I would remake each one (their progress sheet had like 100+ sprites) in order to PRACTICE. I then decided in the middle of the year to remake those sprites again. Originally I wanted to release these without the first sprite as to avoid any misusage of the original creator's art, but then I feel like it would be rude to not credit them in some way/show their work off. To me it seems like a lose-lose, so I decided that this way it shows a visual aid on what I made based off their work. I took all of these from a user named ONIS , whom I believe made them all. Now I don't have the original sheet because this stuff is so old, but I guarantee that I do not intend to claim any but my own sprites. If ONIS wants me to not show these, or to remove this, or whatever I am more than happy with doing so.

Again, these are revamps of SOMEONE ELSES art. I simply did this for the sole purpose to practice and never intended to show these so, relax. Mmk?

NOTES: I haven't had time to do art while getting my degree but i graduated on Sunday so i've been getting back into it!

Top left: First sprite i made being back so i was just trying to unrust a bit here, not much to say except I couldve maybe shaded the clothing and hair better but i had a hard time mixing the dark brown with the "black" of the clothing to make it all pop... the hair though I could've definitely done better i think.
Middle left: Had fun with this, could've done the black of the hair better but overall i think i did a good job of not overloading the sprite with unnecessary shading. Trying to improve on that as I think it pops better.
Bottom left: Imo hair is very generic and poorly shaded but I had to redo the clothing a few times and lost inspiration to work on it, again having trouble separating the black of the vest with the pants so i just added a black line which I tend to never do, but it worked i think.
Top right: Man I just can't shade black clothing huh! More practice needed I think. Especially vests. Think this was my second sprite done in the bunch so the rust shows, maybe.
Bottom right: I really just wanted to go crazy with the hair, really liked how it came out actually! Not sure if the darkest red was necessary (if you can even tell) but again trying to push some limits here. Black cloth looks bad too. Man! Considering I did nearly 5 black clothed sprites I can't figure it out.

Overall I had fun doing these, I made a 6th sprite but it came out so bad and I rushed it so I won't be showing it off. Hopefully I make more art soon since I graduated finally after 5 years!

Credit to for these sprites, he is an amazing pixel artist and I've used his art for practice and I silently look up to him as the artist I hope to one day be. Go check him out, his style is iconic and very well made!
