I love when Gandalf opens the door, and... there he is, the awesome Thorin Oakenshield!
I was searching for THAT moment of the movie "The Hobbit" in video and I found it, and and me made an animated gif of it! Thorin looks so handsome there, with that regal look and that smile...
Well I post it here so other fans of Thorin can enjoy it

Well I thought about the hilt of the sword maybe, shining with the light of the sunset... but a friend said he saw a kind of medal and at first I thought he had a shing medal too, so it's disturbing. It could be the top of the hilt of the sword but it looked like a kind of medal to me... and to my friend.

Nice! Definitely had a different idea/vision of Thorin while reading The Hobbit, but I'm not disappointed with the film's representation. Great character, and easier to relate to than Aragorn (love Aragorn, too, just saying.)

I like Aragorn too but he's too clean, too perfect. Thorin has flaws and this is what also makes him more realistic
