Description My name is Davide (Da-vee-de), but it is usually just pronounced as David or shortened to Dave. I come from a traditional Italian family. When I was six years old, we made the big move from Sicily to America. Boy was that a big move. Anyway, 10 years later, I am the wielder of the Omnitrix and savior of the universe and more! It's been an exciting journey for me and I can't wait to share my adventure with you all. I guess I should start all the way from the start, when I first discovered the Omnitrix.

It was my fifteenth birthday. All my cousins and aunties and uncles - or as I knew them, my Zia and Zio - had left and my Grandparents were just heading out the door.
'Grazie, grazie per una buona notte' my Nonna said to my mother and father. I was standing right behind them, towering over them. Both my Grandparents looked up at me.
'Ciao, Davide' my granddad said.
'Ciao, Bello' my grandma said. That translates to "Goodbye, beautiful boy."
'Arrivaderchi, Nonno e Nonna' I said, stepping through to kiss them each on their cheeks. That translates to "Bye, Grandpa and Grandma." That's how you say Grandma and Grandpa in Italian, and in my honest opinion, it sounds way better.
'Ciao, Mamma' my mom farewelled as they walked out to their car. She closed the door and the three of us turned and headed to our living room.
'Mamma, can I go for a swim?' my eight year old brother Leo asked.
'Not on your own, Leo' my mother said. She is super protective and extremely cautious of us.
'It's okay, I'll take him,' my older brother Andrea offered as he walked into the room.
'Yay!' Leo cheered triumphantly as he ran off to go get dressed in his swimming clothes. He was sure that our mother wouldn't allow him to swim.
'Andrea' Mamma said sternly.
'Don't worry, Mamma, I'll keep a close eye on him.'
'I'm going too,' I offered. My mom was satisfied with that, I was by far the most mature in our family, despite the fact that I was almost the youngest. Andrea was 19, I was 15 and Leo was 8. My cousins ranged between 32-6, with another on the way. I walked off to my room to change into a pair of shorts. I pulled off my shirt to admire my bare chest. I was quite well built for a 15 year old, I already had pectoral muscles larger than most 18 year olds. I began bouncing them in the mirror as a joke.
'Bouncing boobies again?' Andrea asked as he walked into my room.
'BBing again' I laughed. It was our nickname for it. Andrea and I work out together all the time, so we always make gym-related jokes. He pulled off his shirt and joined in, then he tensed his arms to compare bicep muscles with me. I tensed mine with mock confidence, he had been working out much longer than I had, so his arms were always going to be bigger.
'Have you got a pair of shorts I could borrow?' he asked. Andrea had his own house that he lived in with my 21 year old cousin, Tony, so he didn't have any clothes here. I opened up my wardrobe and looked around. 'What are those?' he asked. I looked to see what he was looking at. Then I spotted it, a pair of bright pink short-shorts. Crap! One week my parents and Leo went on holidays and my girlfriend stayed over for the whole time. She'd left a pair of pants behind and I continually forgot to return them.
'Uh, they, uh...' I choked.
'My man!' Andrea cheered in a hushed tone. He held up his hand and I slapped it. 'Don't worry, I was doing the same things when I was your age' he whispered into my ear. I blushed bright red - our family was pretty much out there about everything, but I hadn't told anybody about the week I spent alone with my girlfriend and I was pretty embarrassed to have my brother find out about it. I found a pair of shorts and threw them to Andrea. He dropped his shorts and slid my pair on. 'Let's go.'
We got to our pool area to find Leo swimming laps, trying to beat each record he set. Leo was super competitive. Our mom was sitting by, watching to make sure he didn't do anything to hurt himself.
'Mamma, we're here' Andrea said, 'you can go inside.' She stood and walked over to us, kissing us each on the cheek.
'Watch out for my little baby' she warned.
'Si' I offered before rubbing her shoulder. She walked off. 'I'll race you to the over side of the pool?' I asked Andrea.
'You're on' he nodded. We stood, ready to dive.
'Uno,' Leo began counting, 'Due, TRES!' We dove down into the water and pushed through to the other side, emerging at the same time.
'Who won?' I called to Leo.
'Draw!' he declared. Andrea and I looked at each other and chuckled. 'I bet I can swim to the edge faster than you guys!' Leo challenged, running to the edge of the pool and preparing to jump in.
'DON'T RUN! IT'S SLIPPERY,' I warned, but it was too late. Leo had slipped and his leg got caught on the rough edge of the pool. It twisted and I watched as the bone began to protrude from out of his shin. He screamed as he fell into the water. Andrea and I quickly swam over to him and lifted him out.
'It's okay, it's okay' Andrea offered soothingly as he held Leo who continued to squeal in agony and pain. I ran out of the water and straight into the house.
'MAMMA! MAMMA, PAPA!' I called. They ran, hearing the screaming.
'What, what?' my mom cried, tears streaming down her face.
'Leo, he-he-he, gamba rottura' I announced. Under the stress I completely forgot how to speak English, I couldn't even form a full sentence in Italian. All I said was "Leg Break." Mamma and Papa ran out to help comfort Leo while I ran for the closest phone and dialed 911. 'Pronto, piccolo,' I began to say. That translated to "Hello, small," 'uhh, hello, I need an ambulance, my younger brother has just broken his leg.' I spent the next minute and a half on the phone with the operator before hearing the magical words,
'An ambulance will be at your house within a few minutes.' Surely, I heard the sirens within a matter of seconds. I ran out through the front door and saw the ambulance rushing up the street. Thank god we lived so close to the hospital. I waved to them and they parked on the gutter.
'Are you Davi-' they began.
'This way' I said. They already had the gurney out and I lead them to our pool area. I watched in pain as Leo squealed while they assessed his leg. It was definitely broken.
'Here, buddy, here's a special lollipop for you to suck on' they said, passing him a small device that carried morphine.
'That's not a lollipop! Finnochio, testa di cazzo, cornuto!' I would translate, but those were some nasty words. Basically, he called them the devil.
'Shh, shh, shh, Leo' my mom offered.
'It's a special lollipop, it doesn't look like one and doesn't taste that nice, but it will make you feel a lot better' one of the paramedics offered. Leo took the Morphine and slowly began sucking on it. 'Now, tell us when you don't feel any pain in your leg.'
We waited for around 30 seconds before Leo spoke up.
'Now' he said. One of the paramedics poked his leg. Leo flinched, but said it was just a slight pain.
'Okay, we're going to put you onto this gurney and take you to the hospital to fix you all up. The ride is going to be just like a rollercoaster. Who do you want to come for the fun ride with you?'
'Davide' Leo said softly. I looked over to him. I had kept my distance from him, I couldn't bare to be so close to him while he was in so much pain. I looked down and shook my head as I sobbed.
'I can't, Leo, I'll have to wait here for a little while, then I'll come see you first thing tomorrow morning. I promise, but I can't come just yet.'
'Per favore, Davide, per favore' he begged. It killed me so much the way he begged, but I couldn't do it. I broke down in tears. 'Mamma' he said, looking down.
'I'll come with you, baby, I'll come' she said, holding his hand tight and kissing it. With that they lifted the gurney and wheeled it into the ambulance. Mom got into it and sat with him.
'Hey, want us to flash our sirens?' I heard one of the paramedics ask. He must have said yes because I heard a quick beeping. Then it stopped. I didn't look up for the next five minutes, but when I did, it was gone. So were dad and Andrea. I wiped my eyes and walked inside. Andrea and dad had two bags packed and Andrea was spinning his car keys in his hand.
'Come sta?' dad asked.
'Bene, bene' I said. Andrea wrapped his arms around me and I felt his chest heave as he took each breath.
'It looks like he snapped the bone. He'll most likely have to have surgery and stay in there for a few days. Mama will be staying with him. Andrea and I are going to take these bags of things to the hospital for them, would you like to come too?' dad asked. I shook my head.
'Okay, I'll come see you first thing tomorrow morning, okay?' Andrea assured me. I nodded and looked up, and then they were gone. I considered going for a shower and just letting the hot water run over me to calm myself down, but for some reason I felt the need to go to the pool. I headed down and slowly got into the pool.
'This is SHIT!' I screamed. I don't know why, nobody would hear me. Nobody would probably care right now, they were probably happy sleeping. How could such a great night turn so horrible? I looked up and saw a shooting star.
'I wish that everything would be okay, and that I could help my family.'
But then something weird happened - the star began to head downwards. At first I thought it was a meteor or something, but then I realized. It was a bomb! I was in the center of the pool, I must have floated there while I was side-tracked, but I needed to swim to the edge and get out. But it was too late. I was at least two meters away when the bomb landed directly in the middle of my pool. The impact pushed me into the wall and, for a few moments, I lost consciousness. When I wake up, I realized there was no explosion. Was it really a bomb, or was I imagining things? I lifted myself to my feet and turned to find a shell, about the size of my head, just sitting in the middle of my pool.
'What is that doing here?' I wondered allowed. I slowly approached it. But I immediately regretted it. The shell began to open and it shot out a green light. It must have been some sort of a Nuclear bomb. The light hit me and I turned and ran. For some reason I ran faster than usual, a lot faster. I prepared to jump out of the pool and there was some sort of mini explosion. I guess, anyway, because there was a flash of green light. But as soon as there was that flash, my agility was enhanced. I jumped without any hands and cleared the pool which was now empty of water. I began running again and there was another flash of green light - I was really fast again. I reached a fence and jumped. That green flash. I cleared the fence by a mile, another green flash as I curled myself into a ball and landed on my. I turned to see that the light was right on my heels. Literally.
'Shi-!' I began, but the light passed me. But then it stopped. Was the light searching for something, some sort of heat signature? Would it explode once it found it? Well, I don't know, but there was nothing after the light disappeared. I decided to reenter the pool area and climb down into the pool. And there I saw it, where there was a bomb shell, there was now a watch. 'What is this?' I said in shock, my voice barely coming out. I walked over to it and held out my arm. The watch came to life, jumping out of the shell and attaching itself to my wrist. But I wasn't afraid, it was like I felt that this needed to happen. I lifted my wrist to my face and inspected the watch. It was white all over, apart from one cut out in the center that was green and black, and a few green stripes along the sides. I slowly put a finger onto the black center and was shocked as a green light shot out from it. Then, the light opened up into a holographic ring with little emblems over it.
'Omnitrix Activated' the watch announced.
'Omnitrix...' I said. Slowly, I slid my finger to the right. The icons moved along with my finger. On the top of the ring was a box that glowed brighter than any other icon. 'I wonder what that does...' I slid my finger a bit more and watched as the icons moved through it. Then I stopped to observe. One icon had stopped in the middle of the glowing box. I lifted my finger to see what would happen next. The hologram disappeared. I expected that. But then the black and green center lifted and move to the side, revealing a green and black hourglass imprinted onto the top of a cylinder. 'What the heck is this?' I asked. I pushed down on the hourglass, and then I regretted it. I felt my skin begin to crawl and watched as it changed color and shape. I was changing. My arms became huuge, way bigger than they were at the moment. Then they changed to be a dark green color and the underneath of my arms became purple. Three spikes protruded out from each of my forearms. And then my hands disappeared. That's when I began to freak out the most. Before I couldn't make a sound, three claw-like fingers popped out from my arm. Then I felt myself stop changing. A green flash shot out from my chest and I looked down at it. That same hour glass that was on my watch was now on my chest. My huge, beetle-like, green chest. Then I thought of something, where was my watch? I lifted both my hands to find that the watch had disappeared.
'Hey, Omnitrix, is that you on my chest?' I asked. My voice had become a lot deeper now. I noticed my head felt a lot heavier now than it had before. I looked up to see a huge horn protruding from it. 'What the heck is that...' I wondered aloud. Then I got this sudden urge. This sudden urge to eat. To eat rocks... I looked around and spotted a small boulder that we had around our pool area as decoration. I ran over to it, lifted it, and shoved it down my throat. Then there was this weird sensation, like something was crawling from my stomach, up my neck and all the way to the top of the horn on top of my head.
'I-I need a target' I said. I don't know why, but I just did. I looked around and spotted another huge boulder. I closed my eyes, focused and pushed. A huge green beam shot out from the horn on my head and hit the rock, shattering it into rubble. 'Whoa' I said. 'This is awesome. I'm some huge beetle monster that eats things and shoots out lasers. I'm an eating beetle. I'm Davide, the Eatle Beetle. Eatle Beetle... Eeea-tle... Bee-tle.' I said. 'I'll call myself "Eatle." ' I declared. Then I began thinking. I could use this guy to be a super hero! I could use him to save the world. Everyone would love me! I wonder if I have any more of these guys...
'Hey, Omnitrix, do I have any more monsters?' I asked. Then I heard this weird, fizzling noise and there was a green flash. I quickly shrunk down to my normal size and realized I was normal Davide again.
'Well, that was cool.' I put my finger onto the center of the watch again, waiting for those holographic icons, but there was nothing. The center of it flashed red and the Omnitrix announced,
'Recharge Mode, activated.'
'Oh, well that's a bummer. Hey...' I said, beginning to think. 'I wished that I could help my family, this must be the thing that helps me help them!'
It was wishful thinking, and this whole thing got my mind off of Leo, but then I saw my second shooting star for the night. Except this one was clearly not a star - it was a robot.
'Uh-oh' I said. It was clear that it wanted me. The robot was humanoid, it had a basic round head with an angry face carved into it. It had long arms with guns attached to the ends of them. It landed in the pool that was filled with only 2" of water.
'So, you wouldn't happen to be able to refill this pool, would you?' I asked, trying to think of a way to save myself from this situation. The Omnitrix flashed.
'Life threatening situation detected, Omnitrix recharged.' I cheered and put my finger onto the black center, or as I now refer to it, the faceplate.
'Anything's good!' I said as I removed my finger and hit down on the cylinder. My body immediately shrank. Okay, maybe not everything in there would help my battle this guy, but, y'know, at this point in time I thought everything would. My skin began to turn white. The Omnitrix disappeared off my wrist and I looked down at my chest. I watched as a circle appeared, expecting it to be the Omnitrix, but it wasn't. Then there was a flash of light. The transformation was completed. I looked down to see my reflection in the water that was spread all over the floor. I was short, barely 4 ft tall. The Omnitrix was on my head now and I had bulging frog eyes along with these weird white headphones.
'Must destroy and retrieve Omnitrix' the robot announced.
'Listen, fratello, you're not getting anywhere near my Omnitrix!' I said. My voice was croaky and sounded like it had been autotuned. 'Great, I had to turn into the tough monster when there was nobody around, but when a robot attacks me I become a living autotune microphone.' Then I grunted, 'UGH!' I watched as my grunt was transformed into sound waves, shooting through the air and smashing into the robot. The sound waves began to interfere with the robots frequency and sparks began to shoot out everywhere. 'Maybe this guy isn't that useless after all.' I stretched my arms out, getting ready to scream as loud as I could, but then something weird happened. Something came out of my arm. Not something - someone! I turned to see a copy of myself. 'What are you?' I asked.
'I'm your clone. You're a Sonorosian, capable of flight, duplication and sonic screaming' it explained.
'That's cool, but what does this little knob on my stomach do?' I asked.
'That allows you to change the frequency and pitch of your screams.'
'Great' I said. I stretched out, forcing out a third clone. 'Hey' I waved. Then, I reached down to the knob on my stomach and turned it all the way up. 'Ready you guys?' I asked.
'Ready' one said.
'Ready' the other agreed. They sound like echos I thought. Then I opened my mouth, took a deep breath in and screamed as loud as I could. I watched as my scream shot out and traveled through the air, smashing into the robot drone. The screams were seeping out from everywhere on my body, causing me to float up into the air. Both of my clones joined in. Just like echos. Hey, I could call this guy "Echo"! Or, because I've got clones, Echo Echo. Like I'm saying it and then they are saying it.
We continued to scream watching sparks fly out of the robot before, finally, its head shot off of its body. I stopped, followed by the other two. We each walked over to it and inspected the dysfunctional body.
'So if I wanted to lift this and throw it, could I?' I asked.
'Well, sure, but it would only be a few meters. We have more strength than our size lets on.'
'But, if you want to throw it a large distance, you could channel a sonic ring around him and use it to lift him and throw him.'
'I like that one, the sonic ring thing, but how do I do it?'
'Here, we'll help you. Turn your knob down as low as you can and release a small yell.' I did as I was instructed and watched as three, large and slow moving rings began to assembled themselves around the robot.
'Now, here's the hardest part,' the second clone began to explain, 'slowly grabbed a hold of it through your hands, without touching anything.' I tried to do as he told me to, but I'm not sure I understood. I held out my hands and tried to feel. Sure enough, though, I could feel this weird vibration. I grabbed a hold of it through my mind.
'Now, with one hand, turn your knob all the way up, grab a firm hold with both hands and slowly lift your arms into the air.' I released my grip with my left hand, turned the knob up and returned my grip. Then I slowly lifted my hands, trying to stop them from shaking as I held my arms up.
'Lift it higher and faster.' I lifted it higher, much faster. It was easier this time. 'Now, spin around, swinging it, and throw it!' I spun, like I was preparing to throw a discus, then I threw it. I watched as the drone soared through the air, heading up through the air, exiting Earth's atmosphere and entering space. I clapped my hands together as the Omnitrix began beeping. My two clones were automatically sucked into me and there was that fizzling noise again as I grew and returned to my normal self.
'Hmm, I like this Omnitrix.' I waited around, pacing, thinking about all the events that had happened that night. I did that for about 10 minutes before the Omnitrix flashed green. It was recharged. I looked over at the pool and grinned evilly. It needed to be refilled, otherwise people would get suspicious, and I was sure there would be somebody in there that could control water. I put my finger onto the faceplate and began sliding through, looking for an aquatic sort of icon.
'Hmm, a crab... Well, it's worth a try' I said. I lifted my finger and watched as the icon locked into place. The faceplate slide open and I pushed down. There was the familiar flash of green as I transformed into a huge, red crab-monster.
'Whoa, I look awesome!' I laughed, looking at my reflection in the water. I inspected my body, wondering where I could shoot water from. I looked at the barnacles over my shoulders. 'Do you guys shoot water?' I asked. I tried to force some water through them, but I didn't feel anything. Not like when I used the other guys' powers. I looked down at my chest and noticed that it was a crab-like face. 'That's slightly disturbing, but can I shoot water from there?' I tried, but to no avail. I face-palmed. Lucky I did, too, because that was when I noticed a hole in each of my palms. And I could feel the water flowing through them.
'Okay, this is the definition of luck.' I aimed my palms at the pool and let the water flow through. I expected it to come out softly, but the water shot out so powerful I was sure it chipped away bits of the pool. 'Whoa, this water is hazardous. Hmm...' I began thinking of a name for this monster. 'Water Hazardous... Nah, that's lame.' Within a minute the pool was refilled and you wouldn't even be able to tell all the water had been emptied from it. Other than the fact that there was water splashed everywhere...
'Aaaand luck gone.' I hit the Omnitrix, which was back on my chest, hoping for the hologram to shoot out again. But it didn't. Instead I heard the familiar fizzling and returned to my human form.
'Well that's peculiar.' I looked at the Omnitrix and saw that it wasn't red. That means it still had charge! I put a finger to it and began searching through the icons, walking as I searched. Lucky for me, I found one that was made of flames. Well, it looked like flames anyway. I went to lift my finger, but slipped on the water and move the icon, locking in a garbage can-like alien. I rubbed my now aching butt and hit down on the faceplate. The change was instant. This time I couldn't even watch myself transform. My body just heated up and I was inside this suit.
'This will work.' I held out my hands and shot out low powered energy rays, heating the floor, causing the water to evaporate, but not causing fires. By the time I ran out of charge, the floors were completely dry. Standing in my human form to appreciate the effort, I realized one thing. Where we pulled Leo out. I needed to wet the floor where he was pulled out, otherwise they'd catch on. I bent down, pulled out handfuls of water and poured it over the floor. Then, I was ready to get into bed and forget about the night. I was wasted. I knew this would be the beginning of something great, but I also knew that there would be a lot of problems to come along with this watch, much worse than the robot.

The next morning I awoke to a peaceful household. Usually I'd hear Leo, screaming for attention, or laughing as he played around with Papa. But this morning, there was nothing. I scratched my head and stepped out, wondering what exactly was going on. Maybe Leo was sick? I wondered. I checked in his room; nothing.
'Okay, there's only one other thing that can shut Leo up - food' I said aloud, not worrying what anybody said. I walked through to our kitchen, expecting to find Leo stuffing his face full of pasta. But there was nothing. Nothing but a note on the bench. I rushed over to read the note.
Davide, I've gone to the hospital to keep an eye on Leo. He's going in to surgery in a few hours. Once he's out, Mama will be coming home for a rest. If you want to come and visit, give Andrea a call and he'll bring you over.
-Pa
Then everything started coming back to me: Leo's leg, the bomb, the Omnitrix, the aliens, the robot. I quickly lifted my wrist. Yup, the watch was still there.
'I'm not getting rid of you easily, am I?' I asked it. No response, not that I was expecting one, but I was at least hoping for it to flash or something. 'I guess I should try to figure you out.'
I walked over and sat down on our huge orange couch, tapping the Omnitrix all over. There were no buttons or other touch-activated objects around it, as far as I could see. I guessed only the Faceplate functioned. With all this spare time, I decided I should try to figure out my transformations a little more.
'Here goes nothing...' I said, getting ready to transform. I put a finger onto the faceplate and watched as that familiar green light shot out, forming a holographic ring. Then, I began to slide my finger over the faceplate, looking as each monster icon passed. Then I stopped as I found one that didn't look so intimidating. I lifted my finger and watched as the faceplate slid back, revealing that cylinder. I pushed down on it and felt that tingly feeling, watching as the green light traveled from the Omnitrix, all the way up my arm and over my body. I grew in height and my arms became slimmer. Much slimmer. My legs changed shape and a gooey substance stretched from my knee to my shin. I put my hands to my head and felt as one long spike grew out upward, and my eyes stretched out into two separate side spikes. Then there was the flash, and the transformation was completed.
'What am I this time?' I asked. I took awkward steps, struggling to stand up straight, as I walked over to my bedroom to inspect my new body in the huge mirror. I was surprised and slightly disgusted by what I found. 'I'm a giant grasshopper!' I screamed. 'What is so great about grasshoppers that made me become a grasshopper monster?' I said, sitting with my head in my hands. That was when I heard another familiar noise, one that I'd hoped I wouldn't have to hear ever again. The sound of a robot drone landing.
'Search completed - Omnitrix found' it announced.
'This one sounds angrier than the last one' I pondered, looking for an exit so I could go outside and battle. 'What do grasshoppers do that will let me fight?' I wondered aloud, once again. There was the front door.
'Omnitrix Wielder found' the drone announced once I emerged from the door.
'Grasshoppers jump...' I said, still wondering how I could defeat him. I got down, bending both my knees and jumped. Boy, was I right about being able to jump. I flew through the air faster than a jet plane. My head made impact with the robot drone's chest, and that thing snapped like a twig. But unluckily, this drone had been rigged so that it could fight back, even after being destroyed. An electrical bolt shot out from the robot, zapping me and forcing me to drop down onto the ground.
'What's that?' I heard somebody ask.
'Greaat' I muttered. People were starting to come out of their house to see what was making such a ruckus. I bet they were shocked to find a huge grasshopper fighting a robot. I stood up, rubbing my aching belly, due to the fact that I'd just belly flopped onto the concrete, and took a look around. Everybody was out on their front lawns, and sure enough, they were shocked. 'Ugh, hi' I said, throwing them all an awkward wave.
'WATCH OUT!' a girl squealed. I turned to see what she was worried about, but was too late. There was another electrical bolt, this time stronger. It made impact with my chest and I dropped to the ground.
'Well I don't want to do that again...' I managed to lift myself up and find the source of the electricity. It wasn't the robot anymore, it was a little battery monster. I watched as it crawled out from the broken robot body. It was small, maybe 2 ft tall, with a black body and yellow chest. It giggled an evil, high pitched giggle. It sounded girly, but it was evil, nonetheless.
'Omnitrix!' it shouted. It had obviously noticed the Omnitrix on my chest. The little battery jumped at me, its hands were sparking with electricity. I quickly jumped into the air, remaining there for quite a few moments before beginning my descent. I turned and locked on to the battery. BOOM! My head made contact with it. And I didn't feel a thing.
'Awesome, my head is like a battering ram!' I stood and lifted my head out of the huge ditch that was left behind in the road. The battery was there, but it was squashed. I doubted it would be getting out of the any time soon.
'Who are you?' somebody yelled out. It was my next door neighbor. I wasn't too sure how to answer that, should I tell them who I was? Should I reveal to them that I was Davide? Or should I give them my monster name? Well, I didn't really have a monster name for this guy yet, but I didn't feel like it was the best idea to tell them my real name.
'Ugh, I'm the Crashing Grasshopper...' I tried. 'No, no, I'm the Crashing Hopper. Er, I mean, I'm Crashhopper.' Finally, that one sounded better than the rest.
'What do you want?' somebody else asked. I turned to face them. I'd never seen them before, they must have come from a corresponding street.
'I want to help,' I announced heroically. Okay, I know it sounded really corny, but they obviously liked it. They all started to cheer. I spun around, showing myself to the crowd that had gathered, but then I saw something coming from the edge of the street. It was Mama, she was driving up the street in her car. If I wasn't at home when she got there, she'd freak.
'It was great to help you guys, but I've gotta go' I said, bending down and picking up the battery.
'Crashhopper!' they began to chant as I jumped up high into the sky, then threw the battery, or as I now know it, the Megawhatt, out into space. I soared down and landed three streets away, where I found an empty bushy area. I hit the Omnitrix and transformed back to myself.
'Okay, I need something quick, something quick' I said, scrolling through the icons. I found something that looked like a velociraptor. 'Velociraptors are fast, right?' I asked myself, as I transformed into it. There was that familiar flash of green light and I had transformed into a black and blue monster. I was wearing a green shirt, to my surprise. And I also had a ball attached to each foot.
'Well, it's time to ex-ell-are-ate' I said with a scratchy voice. I began running, and sure enough, I ran with super speed. Within a few seconds I was in my front door and standing in our kitchen. I heard our garage door opening and quickly hit the Omnitrix on my chest, transforming back to myself.
'Hey, Mama, how's Leo?' I asked as she walked in. I acted like I was making some breakfast.
'He's better. Everything went well in the surgery, but he'll need to stay on crutches for at least a month' she reported.
'At least he's okay,' I said, thoughtfully. 'Go to bed, you look like you're wrecked.' She nodded and grunted, then went straight for bed.

I'll skip to a month later. I've become much more adept at using the Omnitrix, plus I've learned a lot more about it. The things I transform into aren't monsters, they are aliens. The way I transform is by getting a piece of that alien's DNA, which is stored in a far off planet, and the Omnitrix then merges that DNA with my own. There's a lot more that I learned within that month, but I don't think it's entirely important at this time. Oh, and Leo's doing much better. He still has two months left in his cast, but that'll be okay. I've decided not to tell anybody about my secret. Not yet, anyway... But it was getting harder and harder to keep the secret, especially with the attacks getting more and more frequent.
It was a rainy and gloomy day. Everybody was miserable and Leo was getting restless, being trapped in a wheelchair and all. I tried to cheer him up by wheeling him around like a psycho, but nothing, he just got all pissy. It was kind of tempting to become an alien and rip his head off, or just scare him, but I managed to control my rage.
'Dude, can you just settle?' I asked Leo.
'Sorry, why don't you try spending a month with your leg in a cast and stuck in a chair and then keep your cool 24/7' Leo snapped. I was about to retaliate when my phone vibrated. I pulled it out of my pocket and saw a text from our older brother, Andrea.
Wanna go out for the day. Maybe movies?
I was keen to go out, but I looked at Leo and felt bad for him.
Maybe we can go hire a movie and chill with Leo, I think he's feeling a bit lonely.
I waited a few seconds before receiving the next text.
Keen. Ask what movie we should get
A smile grew on my face, I knew Leo would appreciate us spending some time with him.
'Hey, Leo, Andrea is coming over, he's going to hire a movie for us to watch. What movie do you want?'
'Really, he's coming over? YES! I haven't had anybody to play with but you! Can we get a game instead? I want the new CoD game for my Xbox!'
'Okay, okay, I'll go with Andrea, we'll choose a movie and we'll get you the new CoD game. Does that sound good?' I asked. Leo nodded.
Could you come pick me up? Leo doesn't want a movie, he wants a game, but me and you can choose a movie.
I waited another few seconds for a responding text.
Im here
I walked out the front door to find Andrea, parked on our driveway in his red Lamborghini.
'Leo, go tell Mama that I'm going with Andrea and I'll be back in 10 minutes, okay?'
'Okay' Leo nodded obediently.
'And behave yourself.' With that, I was outside and in the passenger seat of Andrea's car.
'Hey, bro' he welcomed me.
'Sup.' He backed out of the driveway and started down the street.
'In a few months, I'm going to take you driving in this bad boy' he offered.
'Already have been' I said. We looked at each other for a few moments in silence before I burst out in laughter. 'Oh, man, you believed that? And you were the smartest in the family?'
'You're an idiot' he said, punching my arm. 'Ow!' he grunted, shaking his hand. Since receiving the Omnitrix, I've built up a lot of muscle. 'Damnit, you've been working out without me. Dog. What game does Leo want?'
'He wants the new CoD for his Xbox.'
'When I was his age I was playing with Pokemon and Digimon, not games where you have to shoot and stab people' Andrea complained, shaking his head.
'Yeah, well, times have-- Look out!' I yelled, grabbing his steering wheel and swerving left, onto the wrong side of the road. Luckily, the street was empty. Up ahead of us was another drone, accompanied by a Cerebrocrustacean. They were shooting at us.
'What the hell is that?' Andrea asked, completely shocked.
'Run, Andrea, drive down into the next street. I'll meet up with you in a minute. If I'm not there in 10 minutes, drive for safety, sell the car, never keep it anywhere near you. They'll be after you once they're done with me. If they're done with me' I instructed.
'Davide, get back in here now!' Andrea commanded, but I was already gone and preparing to transform. I was scrolling through the holographic icons, looking for somebody in specific.
'Ripjaws would be great for a fight in the rain right now.' Then I found it. I hit down on the faceplate and transformed into a huge fish-like alien.
'Ripjaws!' I yelled. That was my thing, it was like a battle-cry. Whenever I transformed, I yelled the name of my alien. I turned to make sure that Andrea was gone, but he wasn't. He sat there in his car, staring at me with his jaw gaping. 'ANDREA, GO!' I yelled. That snapped him out of it. He flicked the car into reverse and sped out of that street. Then I turned back to the drone.
'Give us the Omnitrix, and we will destroy you painlessly' the Cerebrocrustacean said.
'Hah, tough chance. You guys need to learn to give up already.' Then I jumped. I landed directly on the drone and bit my jaws down on its head. Ripjaws was one of my favorite aliens; he could breath underwater, swim with super speed, fight really good, had awesome agility and he could unhinge his jaws and rip things to shreds with his super sharp teeth.
I pulled back, ripping the head off and spitting it out. The drone began flying uncoordinated. Ripping their heads off was kind of like a specialty for me. They must have picked up on that, seeing as this guy was still working without one. I mounted myself on top of him and aimed it towards the ground. Sure enough, it began plummeting. Right before impact, I jumped off and landed on my feet, watching as it exploded onto the road. Then I turned to face the Cerebrocrustacean.
'Now it's your turn' I threatened.
'Please, a Pisccess Volann like yourself could never withstand my neuro-blasts.'
'Maybe I can't, but I know somebody who can.' I hit the Omnitrix and transformed.
'Gravattack!' I yelled.
'A Galilean...' the Cerebrocrustacean gasped, stepping back.
'That's right. I can control gravity, and I can control anything that is sent at me. Just try it' I challenged. The Cerebrocrustacean opened his head plates and shot a bolt of electricity at me. My hands began glowing a light purple color, as I began to control the gravity around me. I controlled the bolt to fly around me, then shot it back at the Cerebrocrustacean. He created a force field, sending it back at me, but I just created my own, shooting it back at him. The bolt quickly began to lose energy and, soon enough, it had disappeared. I began to levitate up into the air, then I threw myself at him. I tackled the Cerebrocrustacean and rolled, smashing him into the ground a few times. Then I lifted him with my gravity and asked him,
'Who's sending you guys?'
'I will never tell you' he challenged.
'Loyal little crab, aren't you?' I asked. He didn't respond. I bashed him into the ground, then began to lift the gravity level. 'You won't be able to withstand that for long. 40 gs, 50 gs, 60 gs, woops, that was a big jump there, 90 gs now. It's either tell me or die.'
'I'd rather die for my master than betray him.'
'Aaargh!' I yelled, lifting the gravity and throwing him back out into space. 'These people really boil my piss' I grunted, walking off towards the next street, where I'd told Andrea to wait. I lifted myself up into the air, rolling up into a ball so that I could allow myself to fly faster. I'm pretty sure that just scared the crap out of Andrea, because his face when I floated up to the car was priceless. I quickly unrolled myself and transformed back, dropping a meter or so to the ground.
'Dave, what is going on?' he demanded.
'Long story' I said innocently, shrugging my shoulders.
'Well, we've got a long time, don't we?'
'Not really, I promised we'd be back within 10 minutes, Leo will probably get restless...'
'David!'
'Fine, it all happened when Leo broke his leg. This thing dropped from the sky and it was an alien watch that lets me transform into tons of different aliens and fight. That's me on the news. Woo, long story shortened. Lets go!' I tried to jump into the car, but Andrea pulled me back.
'That's you? Why didn't you tell anyone? Why didn't you tell me? I thought you trusted me, Davide.'
'I do, it's just... I didn't feel like it was the right time. I'm still figuring everything out myself, I didn't want to tell you about things I didn't know.'
'Well, tomorrow you'll be coming to my private gym and we'll be talking more about it. Now move your butt. Your big, alien butt...'

The next day I went over to Andrea's house, just as planned. It was hard to get away from my mom, though, I told her Andrea was coming to pick me up and she wanted to say hello, but he wasn't really, so I had to become Bloxx and reshape myself into a car and quickly drive away so she thought that I was Andrea... I don't think I explained that very well, but oh well.
When I got there, I discovered some secret things about Andrea's house. His "private gym" was actually a secret gym that was hidden up in his attic that nobody knew about. When I say nobody, I mean nobody, not even our cousin, Tony, who lived there with Andrea.
The gym was awesome, it had so many different features to help us battle and train with. There were flying obstacles, sparring robots, super long treadmills, obstacle courses and a huge boxing ring.
That day, we discussed things about my superhero life.
'I want to help you' Andrea announced.
'Okay, cool. How?' I asked.
'I want to be a superhero with you' he said. I spat my drink all over the place.
'Pardon?'
'Well, I'm not letting my little brother go out there and fight people all on his own.'
'You've got to be kidding me' I laughed. He looked at me seriously. 'I've got this watch that lets me become a whole bunch of aliens' I said, pointing at the Omnitrix. 'What do you have?' I asked. There were a few moments of silence. 'Exactly, Andrea, you aren't fighting alongside me.'
'Oh yes I am' he said, still not giving in.
'No, you're not' I said, standing up. I was beginning to get very frustrated. And then I wasn't frustrated anymore, I was on the floor. 'What the hell?' I asked. Andrea was standing with one foot on my chest.
'I'll prove to you that I can hold my own in a battle.'
'Oh my god!' I grumbled. I grabbed a hold of Andrea's ankle and tugged it out, forcing him down onto his back. 'You're not fighting with me, Andrea, get that!' Still holding his ankle, I spun him around, then let go, forcing him into a wall.
'I'm going to prove my strength to you!' He flipped himself onto his feet, then jumped and dove at me. He caught me off guard and I was down again.
'NO!' I yelled, grabbing him by his collar and spinning us both, so I was on top of him. Then, I grabbed his arm and pulled it behind his back, forcing him into a submission. 'Tap out, bro, tap out.' Watching UFC fighting together was one of our past time pleasures.
'No chance' he said. Then, he spun, slamming me into the ground and forcing me to release him from the hold.
'I've got to admit, you handled that pretty well' I commended as I watched him prepare to get on top of me. Quickly I folded my knees and pushed up, connecting with his chest and throwing him through the air. Then I got up and stood in a fighting stance: both arms up at eye-level, left hand guarding my face, right arm ready to strike. Right leg forward, left leg pushed back, ready to help me pivot and build more power in my hits.
'Lets do this!' Andrea said, getting into the same stance. We inched forward, waiting for the other to throw the first punch. It was me. A quick jab from my left arm, connecting with the left side of his face. It took him by surprise and I used that time to continue my attack, grabbing his head and forcing him to lean forward, then I began to pull up my knee, continuously striking him in the stomach.
'Give up!' I yelled.
'Never!' he yelled. Then, he did something I didn't expect at all. He jumped and spun, completely lifting himself off the ground. He round house kicked me, connecting with my face and forcing me to release my grip on him. Then, to my shock, he landed on both feet - without even stumbling.
'You're pretty agile' I acknowledged.
'I practice, A lot.' He turned and spat. His spit was a tainted red color.
'Lets stop now.'
'Are you going to acknowledge that I am capable of fighting alongside you?'
'No, I'm not going to. It's too big a risk!'
'Well then, we're not stopping.' Andrea jumped at me and we rolled. He grabbed me by my collar and lifted me, then continuously punched me. 'Accept it, Davide, I'm good enough to fight people that aren't human.'
'No, you're not. Sure, you're a better fighter than most people, but you aren't capable of that stuff! I can become aliens and I am still barely capable of it!' I pushed myself through his legs, grabbing them as I slid past. He didn't have any time to react and went face first into the tiles. I stood and walked to his side, swinging a leg and kicking him in the ribs. He rolled over in pain. 'Accept it' I demanded.
'No!' he spat. I rolled him over onto his back and buried my foot in his chest.
'Accept it. Now!'
'Fine, fine! I can't fight alongside you, I CAN'T BREATH!' I lifted my leg, allowing for him to breath again, then I offered a hand to help him up.
'I'll let you train with me and help me train, but I can't risk losing you' I told him.
'Enough with this mushy crap, lets start our training. Suit up.'
'Already?' I asked.
'Suit up' he repeated.
'Okay, where's the boxing gear?'
'Not in boxing gear, transform. Morph into one of your aliens.'
'Oh, right. Uh, give me a moment.'
I activated the Omnitrix and began to scroll through the holographic alien icons. I was looking for somebody who I didn't really know all that well. Then I came across the one I wanted.
'Fasttrack!' I yelled, transforming into a slim, blue and black alien.
'Whoa, never seen this guy before.'
'Yeah, he's new and I'm not really all that keen on him.'
'Okay, well, what powers does he have?'
'So far, I know he can jump really high and has super speed.'
'Good. Get on the treadmill.'
So for the next hour I was running at full speed on a super long treadmill, constantly jumping and doing random spins. After a while, I began to get peeved with it all.
'Okay, Andrea, that's enough!' I yelled, jumping off of the treadmill. 'I'm not getting anywhere with this, watch, I'll jump and spin at the same time and I still won't do anything' I said, jumping and spinning. 'See, nothing!'
'Actually, something' Andrea said, smiling and nodding. He was right, I was floating in the air and spinning so fast that I was creating a small tornado.
'Okay, maybe that did achieve something...' I flicked one arm and watched as it created a gust of wind. Then I chuckled and flicked my other arm, creating a gust of wind that hit Andrea and threw him at least 5 meters.
'Okay, okay, we get it. Get down here and transform back.'
'Oh... Um, how do I get down?' I asked, embarrassed.
'Ugh,' Andrea groaned, facepalming. 'Slowly spin in the opposite direction of the tornado.' I did exactly as he said, and it worked. The tornado began to shrink in size and I was getting closer and closer to the ground before it completely disappeared and I just dropped. Then, I transformed back to myself.
'What next?' I asked.
'Melee combat' he said, smirking. I wondered what exactly he had in mind, I just beat him in my human form, and now we were supposed to be battling we me as an alien? But, I went along with his plans and transformed into an alien that was adept at fighting with his bare hands.
'Kickin' Hawk!' I yelled.
'Well, this guy looks pretty good. Get in the ring.' I did just as Andrea said and climbed into the ring, waiting for my opponent. I expected some form of robot drone. But no, I got the thing that I didn't want - Andrea.
'I can't fight you!'
'Why not?'
'I'll smash you' I said.
'Don't be so cocky' he said with a little giggle.
'Ha-hah, I'm a chicken, start making cock jokes.'
'Okay, hey, that's a pretty big co-'
'QUIT IT!' I yelled, swinging at him and throwing him across the ring.
'Good, get angry' he said.
'You're a weirdo' I told him, cornering him.
'Come at me' he teased. I jumped. Just as I was about to land on him, he pulled out a Kendo stick and whacked me, throwing be across the ring. 'Never trust your opponent.'
'You little mother f-' I began, but before I spat it out he had hit me again. 'That's it!' I pulled out the blade from my elbow and wielded it as a sword. I swung at Andrea, and in one fluid motion, I had cut his Kendo stick in half.
'Nice effort, now try to break this in half' he said, pulling out a Katana blade. We began battling, each armed with our weapon. To be honest, it was a pretty even battle. But after a half hour, I had to end it. I jumped and pushed him onto the ground with my leg, then I kicked the Katana out of his hands.
'That's why I call him Kickin Hawk' I said, transforming back.
'Good work, but now I think it's time for a break.'
'Finally!' I cheered as I helped Andrea to his feet. He lead me back down to his kitchen where we warmed up some left-over pasta and ate while conversing about the Omnitrix.
'So, you just saw it and picked it up?' he asked.
'Well, no, I saw it and thought it was a bomb, so I ran. But this green light hit me and I could run really fast and jump really high, it was like I had alien powers and stuff, but I was still a human.'
'Maybe it was calling you or something?'
'Maybe... I also couldn't stay transformed for more than 10 minutes in each form. The Omnitrix would transform me back to myself and have to recharge, but slowly I began to be able to stay transformed for longer and longer, and now it doesn't detransform unless I tell it to.'
'Maybe it's beginning to understand you or something.'
'I guess so...' We sat in silence for a few minutes after that. That was until we heard a weird noise coming from the roof. 'What is that?' I asked, expecting it to be some of his gym equipment.
'Nothing I've ever heard before. I don't know why, but it just feels... evil.' Then I realized what it was. It was a spaceship. It had to be, it sounded just like the robots, except it was a lot louder and sounded like it had a lot more power.
'Run' I said.
'What?' Andrea asked.
'RUN!' We got up and ran for the nearest door, but there were already drones holding some weird alien rifles there. We turned to the next door, but it had already been busted open and more drones ran in. 'How'd you find us!'
'We were tracking the energy signals of the Omnitrix, it wasn't too hard' a drone said, calmly.
'Lets go' I told Andrea.
'Davide, it doesn't look like we're going anywhere...'
'Oh yes we are' I said, activating the Omnitrix.
'CANNONBOLT!' I yelled, transforming into a huge, white alien with yellow shells all over my body. They began to fire, but I jumped and rolled up, throwing Andrea inside me. I became a ball, with my outer-shell protecting myself and Andrea from their attack. 'Brace for impact' I said to him. Then, I began rolling. We rolled through the drones, smashing them and we burst through into the front yard. But they were expecting us. A few drones shot out a sticky substance that, when I rolled over it, caused me to stop rolling and unroll, throwing Andrea. I watched as he flew through the air. 'NO!' I yeleld, quickly transforming again.
'Bloxx!' I yelled. I stretched out a hand and caught him, then transformed into a car and put him inside me.
'MOVE IT!' he shouted. I quickly drove off, but I could see their spaceship, it was right on our tracks. 'AH!' I heard Andrea scream. I recreated my head inside myself to see a small frog-like alien. He looked a lot like one of my aliens, Grey Matter.
'Hello, I'm Azmuth. Galvan, Smartest being in 5 galaxies and creator of the Omnitrix.'
'You mean, you made this thing?' I asked.
'Precisely. Isn't that what I just said?' he asked, confused by my own confusion.
'Ugh, I guess... What are you doing here?' I asked.
'I'm here because Vilgax wants your Omnitrix, and I wanted to warn you that he would go to all lengths to get it!' Azmuth yelled. 'Davide, I have been keeping an eye on you from my laboratory on Galvan Prime. You are making good use of it, but Vilgax is a blood-thirsty, power craving maniac! He will do anything to make sure he gets the Omnitrix. I hacked his computers and found his plans, he intends to take your closest family member hostage and force you to take off the Omnitrix.'
'You mean, he's going to take-'
'Me' Andrea said. 'He's going to take me.' Then Andrea turned to me, 'listen, don't do anything he says. Let him torture me, let him kill me, but don't give him the Omnitrix. Davide, the world needs you-'
'LOOK OUT!' Azmuth shouted. And then I was hit with a laser beam and cut into two pieces.
'Oh man' I groaned, trying to regenerate all my pieces.
'LET GO OF ME!' I heard. I looked up to see Andrea, struggling with the drones. They lifted him and began to carry him away. I watched as the spaceship that was following us landed and a tall, muscular man emerged from it. But then I was disgusted by what I saw. That man must have been Vilgax. He had squid tendrils coming out from his face and it was utterly repulsive.
'ANDREA!' I yelled. I quickly reshaped my upper torso to allow me to transform.
'XLR8!' I yelled. I quickly ran after them. They were all grouped around the door, so I began running in circles, creating a tornado that lifted them off the ground. This tornado was more efficient than Fasttrack's.
'You fool, this could not hurt me' Vilgax said. His voice was disgustingly evil, it gave me shivers. Then he held out his arm and shot a laser at me. I dropped to the ground and began to twitch. I could hear his footsteps as he approached me. This was the end. But then I transformed.
'Humungousaur!' I yelled as I became a large dinosaur.
'Davide, don't let him get you' I heard Azmuth say. He was on my shoulder.
'You were the one that made me transform?' I asked. He nodded. 'It's over, Vilgax!' I yelled. I swung my arms and made contact. I expected the hit to force him away from me, but he just inched backwards before throwing a few punches and knocking me away.
'Now to take my prize...' he said. It was sickening to think of what he had planned to do, to take the Omnitrix. But then there was another flash and I was transformed again.
'Goop!' I yelled, becoming an alien made of green goo. 'Thanks Azmuth' I said as I passed through Vilgax's body.
'We need to get away, now!' Azmuth shouted.
'But, Andrea-'
'Now! We can go back for him later, we need a plan right now!' I hated to leave Andrea on his own with them, but Azmuth was right. I wrapped myself around him and flew away, leaving Andrea alone with the drones and Vilgax. When I finally stopped, I dropped Azmuth roughly and detransformed.
'How do I get this thing off?' I demanded, attempting to rip the Omnitrix off of my wrist.
'Excuse me?'
'Get this thing off my wrist!'
'Are you insane? Your brother's life is at risk right now, and there is a chance for you to save him, but if you take that thing off and give it to Vilgax, he will kill you both, and then he will take control of the entire universe. An uncountable number of lives will be lost all because of your selfish actions!'
'I didn't ask for this!' I screamed, breaking down into tears. 'I didn't ask for the Omnitrix, I didn't ask to lose my brother and I didn't ask for this bloody responsibility! Just take this thing off my wrist, I don't care if we all die, at least we will all be gone, not just one of us. We won't be a broken family.'
'Davide, I chose you, specifically, to wield the Omnitrix. I chose you because I knew you were capable of it. There are aliens in there that can help you defeat Vilgax and save your brother, you just need to use them correctly.'
I began to calm down after hearing that.
'What alien could I use to sneak in there?' I asked.
'Well, there are numerous amounts of aliens that are adept at sneaky around place, for example; an Ectonurite or Necrofriggian, but one that would be the most capable for in there would be a Galvan.'
'Grey Matter?'
'Exactly, there are streams of water all throughout the place, you'd be able to swim through and sneak around with ease.'
'Why would water help me?'
'You know that the Galvan are amphibious.'
'I, uh-'
'Pathetic' Azmuth shook his head. 'And when you get to battling Vilgax, I suggest you use this alien' Azmuth said, jumping onto the Omnitrix and entering a code. A hologram of a tall alien with a fin on its head appeared. 'A To'kustar.'
'Can I just make I final deal with you?' I asked.
'What?'
'If he gets close to murdering my brother, can I give him the Omnitrix?' Azmuth sighed and facepalmed.
'Davide, remember how when the Omnitrix first landed in your back yard, the light hit you and you gained those powers?'
'Yeah...'
'That was the Omnitrix, fusing itself with your DNA. You transformed without really transforming. Because the Omnitrix has fused into your DNA, it would be almost impossible to remove it, and if it was removed it would be unusable' Azmuth explained.
'So there's really no other choice than to fight?' I asked.
'That's right' Azmuth nodded. 'Now, go save your brother and the universe!' he cheered before teleporting away.

I stood around for half an hour or so, working out a plan. It was simple, I'd transform into Ghostfreak, become invisible and climb on top of the ship. Then, I'd transform to Grey Matter to sneak into the ship and I'd swim through the streams to find Andrea and Vilgax, and the rest would escalate from there. I just had to hope everything went according to plan.
'Okay, lets do this' I said to myself. I activated the Omnitrix and began scrolling through the holographic icons.
'Ghostfreak!' I hissed, and then I flew off. I found the spaceship easily, it was still parked in the same place, but the doors were locked and there were robot drones guarding it all. There was no need for them to receive any special attention, I needed to save my energy for the battle, so I flew on to the roof of the ship. I was ready to transform when I realized something.
How will I get inside if I transform while I'm out here? Everywhere is probably secured so no intruders can get in. Unless they want me to get in... But they couldn't, because they would want me to give up, they wouldn't want that struggle. I could just phase through the wall and transform, but there might be guards in there. Well, I guess there mightn't be guards at the door on the inside, seeing as the outside is surrounded. I guess it's worth a try.
So I phased through the wall and, sure enough, the entry hallway was deserted. I transformed into Grey Matter and dropped down onto the floor. Then, I got a good look at the place. Azmuth was right about the streams, they were everywhere. There were even streams on the walls.
'I guess this is where I get into the water. I just hope I don't drown' I said. I put my hands together, as if to pray, then I pushed them forward and got into a diving position, and I dove. Azmuth was right, I could breath underwater. I began to swim through the water, taking in nice deep breaths as I made my way through.
These should hopefully lead to Vilgax's headquarters I thought. And they did. A good 10 minutes had passed and I was there. Floating in the stream, undetectable. But what I found was horribly disgusting. Vilgax's true form. All the streams lead to a huge pool in his headquarters, where he reverted into a huge, ugly squid form to power himself. I had to reveal myself soon, before he discovered me. Being Grey Matter, I was able to swim at an even pace, keeping my breath, and the fact that I was underwater kept me from overheating. I was ready for battle. I just needed to grow a set and pull myself out of the water.
Okay, I'm going to do it... now! Okay, I didn't, but I will... now! Nevermind, I didn't do it again. Come on, Davide, grow a set and pull yourself out. That's it, I'm transforming back. Now! I thought to myself. And I finally did. I lifted myself out of the water and transformed to human, landing on my dry feet.
'The wielder of the Omnitrix!' Vilgax cried.
'Where's my brother?' I demanded.
'Why, he's right over there' Vilgax grinned, pointing to a tank in the corner of the room. Andrea was in there, covered in blood.
'Davide!' he yelled.
'Give me the Omnitrix, and he won't be harmed any more' Vilgax coaxed. I noticed that there was a generator on the top of the tank, charging the outside of it with electricity.
'You'll never got the Omnitrix from me!' I challenged.
'Is that so?' he asked, pulling himself out of the water and slowly transforming back to his bipedal form.
'That is so' I said. I touched the faceplate and saw the icon of the new alien Azmuth had just unlocked for me.
When you get to fighting Vilgax, I suggest you use this alien, I recalled. Then I scrolled to the next icon and pushed down. I watched as a camo pattern appeared along my arms, which shrunk as they began changing. My clothes disappeared, replaced with a camo colored skin. My stomach began to bulge out.
'Upchuck! Sorry, Azmuth, I don't think that other guy will help right now' I announced.
'Hah, a Gourmand? You think that will do you any help against me?' he laughed. 'What a joke.'
'It might not help me battle you, but it will help me unlock somebody else who will definitely be a big help.' I walked over to the tank and shot out my four tongues, wrapping them around the generator and pulling it into my mouth. I got a buzzing sensation in my stomach as I began to digest it. Then my stomach lit up. 'Just to buy me more time' I muttered to myself as I turned to face Vilgax. I spat out an electrically charged energy blast. It hit him and knocked him into the water, giving him a small electric shock.
'You're going to need more than, ugh, some acid spit to defeat me' he groaned, struggling to lift himself.
'I know' I said, hitting the Omnitrix.
'Eatle!' I yelled. I quickly ripped apart the tank and began eating it. I felt all of it generating power in my horn, creating a stronger beam.
'Ready for this, Vilgax?' I asked, turning to face him. My horn began to emit a strange, buzzing noise, probably because of all the energy I had created. Then, I let loose. I shot out one long, powerful, green blast from my horn. It hit Vilgax and threw him through the wall and onto the grass outside. I turned to help Andrea.
'Are you okay?' I asked, helping him out of the remains of the tank and onto his feet.
'I'll live' he nodded.
'Just stay behind me' I warned, 'this is definitely going to get ugly.' Then, as Vilgax began to stand, I dove through the hole in the wall and bashed into him with my horn, sending him rolling.
