Here is the one and only, Matt! Searching for love, or his own reflection?***
Continuing from where I left off with the revised character designs of the Eddsworld reimagining project, I give you Matt's updated design!
Details such as coat pockets and zipper lines have been removed from his coat (since they were gradually phased out as I drew Matt more which erased the purpose of even adding them in the first place) and now it is left with a more simplistic feel.
Similar to Tom's updated design, Matt's hair is less exaggerated as well but the way it is drawn is still very anime-inspired.
Completing the group with Edd and Tom, Matt Hargreaves is neither the leader or the jerk. In a sense, he is the fool what with him being the butt of many jokes made by Tom. Although he is an airhead and is very absentminded in his obsession with vanity, Matt makes up for his flaws with his enthusiasm! Sometimes he even saves the day when everybody least expects him to. Matt is not one character that should be looked down upon.
