Description
A fixed topper to turn a standard desk into a stand up desk without having to go out and buy another piece of furniture. Remember to size to your needs. It has an open bottom, the middle full shelf is for keyboards, mice, and small objects, top shelf can hold a laptop and/or monitors. 1 in. by 2 in. (3/4" x 1-1/2") is used for framing, I suggest using dowel pegs to join the supporting framework together, then screw the sections together. Ends and shelf tops are skinned with 1/2 inch thick ply.

Openings allow cables to be run and then managed by zip-tying loose cables to the framework. If electing to use eye-screws, place spacers to keep the metal from impacting the wall.

The use of felt pads where the topper sits should protect the desk top.
