really awesome. I almost don't even want to comment on this because the other comments on this are so involved and I haven't learned anything about photography so I can't really say anything about that. But I still really like it. --X--

Thats a reall nice shot. Not so human, more sculptural, which in a funny way seems to communicate better than the others.
Great pose and stuff.

I think they emotion is conveyed in the image without having her head in the shot. Its a great use of contrasting light, and the emotion I get from it is that she's in dispair. Like she's in the pose and looking in a direction trying to forget that she's there so that her body can hold its position for the shot. I can see the camera man telling her to hold on a little longer. The pose is great, there is a nice mix of soft and hard between your skin/clothes, and your forearms and hands. There is a great flow to the shot, you want to look at her stomach, and the dark outline of her torso leads you to her shoulder and down her arm to her hand and back across to the stomach again.

This is very different from the other three, which relied on your face for much of the expression. It's a very interesting pose which conveys a sense of inner conflict, but methinks it loses something without the good ol' noggin conveying emotion. That said, I think it is best for this piece to concentrate on your body's pose rather than your noggin, as it is evidently trying to show something through that alone.
Hrm, do you even care what I think of the photographer's goals with this? Me wonders. Anyhow, nice modeling in these .
