WATCH: Illustration process in PhotoshopI illustrated this character using a somewhat structured process as opposed to my usual process.
The process is pretty standard and goes like this:
- sketching
- finalizing the line art
- shading using grayscale values to determine shadows and highlights
- applying colors using Colo Layers
I think this could be useful for commercial work where working in layers would be useful to accommodate future changes.
