It's scientifically proven that the only reason people play touhou is because of the music . Because bullet hells are hell in media form. The music always make up for whenever you have to rage quit at stage 5. No matter how hard you rage, you will enjoy it.I know the comic states that fall of fall is the best, but alice maestra is also amazing. You can't go wrong with touhou music, all of them is awesome. Trying to pick a favorite is like choosing between truffles and caviar. It's scientifically proven that you can add truffles and caviar to anything to enhance the food and raise the price. I wish I have 2000 dollars to waste on a single pizza. 1000 dollar ice cream good enough too.
Not enough games pay attention to music at the level that Touhou does. While boss fight music and terrain music is good and all, giving every single character a unique theme is the only way to make each and every single character unique, especially when you only have 3 dialogue boxes to characterize them. It's why undertale is so good. They learned from Touhou. Design the stage around the music, not the music around the stage.
