Basti had good relationships with the public order office and the residents of the multifunctional accommodation, except for Dr. Fred because of his arrogant nature. He realized pretty quickly that he couldn't stand him, but he had no idea why:

As expected, Basti had a crush on his best friend. However, he was far too nervous to do anything about it. Every time he told Pomm Fritt about his feelings, he turned his sentences into alphabet soup. And of course Pomm Fritt was too confused to figure out why he was nervous around her:
