Anyways.

1. Scott Pilgrim series/Bryan Lee O'Malley : oh my dear goodness gracious. The best story about Canadian hipsters to have ever graced my eyes. But not just that.... videogames and a fantastic art style and clever writing and all around just huge levels of awesome.

2. Big-ass Boots: I have them everywhere. Including IRL. These exact boots. And I love them to death.

3. HEARTSREVOLUTION : a band/street art team/freaking amazing cool kids. They have a pink crystal-studded ice cream van. They inspire me to never give up and to always be awesome and try new things. [link]

4. Transmetropolitan/Warren Ellis : THIS COUNTS FOR FREAKANGELS TOO. His dark wit and social commentary, not to mention sex and drugs and journalism.... in the FUTUREZ OMG LOLOL. I love it.

5. SAWNIK : This tard of a blue hedgehog has been in my life since like 7th grade. I've been drawing mutant catpeople since I was four, so this just... I don't know... it just fit. Kind of a shame the fandom is filled so much unoriginality and drama...

6. SCOOBY DOOBY DOOOOO : SD has been with me through my whole life. It has fostered a love of mysteries... and talking animals |D

7. Gurren Lagann : It's so utterly over the top, so ridiculously out there that it's endlessly entertaining Pre-time warp was totally better. The little picture things in the middle were always my favorite.

8. Donnie Darko : Crazy dark cerebral sci-fi with men in bunny suits and time travel. If you look closely at my brain, 28:06:42:12 is branded there. Again, it's mysteries and intricate plotlines... It really shows up in my writing more. But you wouldn't know that.

9. Street art : I've always wanted to be a street artist. Something about the flow and often surrealistic touch to it.. not to mention the ingenuity and subtle wit of culture jamming!

10. William Gibson : All of his books and the cyberpunk aesthetic are permanent additions to my life! It shows up a lot in my writing, the style of his simple yet creatively descriptive.

11. Invader Zim : dear god yes. Zany and angular... pretty much everything my art wishes it were.

12. : Cause she is friggin awesome.

13. Danger Days : Something about My Chemical Romance's new album is clawing at my brain and not letting go. I love it. Post-apocalyptic rebellion fighting against the corporates? HELL YES. The guns that look like 80's kids toys, leather jackets and boots with masks, goggles and skinny jeans.

14. Steampunk : Something about the intricacies and the lovely metalwork that accompanies the aesthetic.

15. Johnny the Homicidal Maniac : Jhonen Vasquez is a god. More dark gory madness and social commentary, without which I would not be the person I am today.

16. : Her creepy-cute weirdsauce surrealism never ceases to inspire me!

17. Scene Hair : I don't know, I just really like it.... almost all my people have scene hair lol.

18. Harajuku Street Fashion : Lots of layers and random accessories. It comes out in my character design.... |D

19. ADVENTURE TIEEEEEEEM : Uhm yeah. Because it's kind of amazing.
