You could tell that Germany's disposition had changed since when you first met all those years ago. To think what would happen to a country after a great economical collapse and depravity of the former land known as the Rhineland!? Germany had suffered major loss of lots of things since the end of World War One.

You looked at Germany with sad eyes and could tell of these said feelings was because of what he was becoming. You had a strong idea of WHAT he was becoming. He placed a hand on your shoulder, smiling softly. "Don't vorry. I vill be fine. Now. Let's go work on some training over at my house,huh?" He took your hand and lead you along as you practically were dragging your feet almost as in protest but you smiled as much as you could so that Germany wouldn't see a problem. You didn't want him to stop and drill you with a million questions.

Germany's house was located on a lovely hillside with flowers and trees on the left and a field with a long,winding path on the right. He told you to keep what you had on and run with him down the field path. "Let's go. I don't vant vöu to be lacking in your skills. The both of you steadily ran together down that path. A cool breeze blew along, making you feel calm and relaxed as ever. You began to speed up past Germany a little, making him feel even more proud as ever of you. "Vait!"

You our turned around, blushing at the sight of him. "Y-Yes?"
"How about ve take a break? Ja?"
You smiled and nodded, walking up to him. "Of course."

The two of you sat down on a small hill, side by side. The view was breathtaking: trees swaying in the wind, the leaves appearing to be many different colors. A few soldiers were resting in the distance.. Probably after a day's training. You two held each other's hands, looking out into the distance, then back at eachother. "Tokyo... S-Saya..." You blushed when Germany called you by your real name. "L-Ludwig..." The two of you kissed as the sun fell, the light radiating the both of you. After the sun fell, those soldiers that were in the distance approached you and Germany.

"Mein Führer!"

"Ja?" Germany replied

"Your orders have been successfully carried out. Is there anything else you need some?"

"Burn ze books.. The ones that are written by those particular authors as we had discussed from the meeting."

You looked at him with wide eyes. "L-Ludwig.. Why are you burning books.. A great source of knowledge?! Why?!"

He he looked back at you and smiled. "Because Fräulein they are not proper for the German people's eyes to see. Especially yours my dear." A surge of anger swelled up inside your heart, but you didn't dare lash out at Germany.

"________?" He placed a hand on your cheek. "Are vu okay?" You nodded, and the soldiers spoke up once more. "Ze Book burning will take place tonight with the Jüngfolk. Are you coming Führer?"

He stood up and held you up as well. "Ja. I am bringing ________ along. Prepare a car."

"Ja Mein Führer!"

Little that you knew that your dream was going to become a nightmare.. Very soon.
