Chapter 6: Dieter

Days had passed and You and Tenma had made it to a new town. Wanted posters had being placed in the local newspaper. Luckily, Tenma's hair had started to length, so it would be harder for people to realize who he was.

A red headed child was chasing a ball in front of you two and then fell, scraping his knee.

"Ouch!" He cried

You and Tenma rushed over immediately.

"Are you alright? Doctor Tenma is going to help you out, alright? I'm _____. It's nice to meet you."

"I'm Dieter."

Tenma applied anapestic to the wound, causing it to hurt slightly for Dieter.

"Ouch!"

"It's alright, Dieter." Tenma smiled. "This is to clean your wound of bacteria." He then placed a bandage on it

"Feeling better?"

Dieter nodded. "I am.. Thank you Doctor Tenma." They looked in front of Dieter and noticed that his ball that he was kicking around had popped. "Aww that was my only ball!"

"Don't worry!" Tenma smiled reassuringly. "I'll get you a new one!"

Dieter's face lit up with a smile. "R-Really? That would be awesome! Thank you Tenma!" He smiled back, as a normal thing, which you adored.

"It's no problem!"

Tenma then looked back down at his watch. "It's getting late. We can take you home so you don't get hurt by those kids again."

Dieter smiled and walked along side us as we returned him to his home with his father.

"Ah! Welcome! You must be friends of Dieter! Please, come in!"

Tenma smiled. "I'm sorry sir, but all I did was help him after he fell and scraped his knee while playing with the other kids."

Dieter's father chuckled. "Well that's even better! Please come in and sit down! Bring your lady friend in as well!"

We entered in and sat down on the couch. Dieter not too far away from us.

"So. What do you two do?"

"Well. I'm a doctor at a hospital far away from here. And my friend here is a nurse at the same hospital that I work at."

You smiled slightly, suspicious of Dieter's father.

"I feel like he is up to something, but I can't put my finger on it.." You thought, worried for Dieter.

"Well thank you very much for stopping by! Please have a good night you two!"

Once the both of you left, Dieter's father turned to face him and then started beating him. You could hear faint screams echoing down the halls. You chose to go against your gut feeling and continue walking with Tenma.

-----Later that Night-----

You and Tenma were lying side by side in bed, unable to sleep. "______... I can tell that something is troubling you. Please tell me what is wrong.."

"I'm worried for Dieter.." You said back, expression seeming loose but with some sternly feedback.

"Why are you worried for him?"

"There's this vibe that I got from his dad. And there were so many photos of him with Dieter, but all the bodies of the kids were different... I'm worried that..."

Tenma's facial expression changes.

"101 Kinderheim?"

"What is that?"

"That guy.. He might know something about it.. And I think he may be abusing him."

"Well if we run into Dieter tomorrow, then we will find out the truth, will we not?"

"Yes..." Your expression saddened.

Tenma sighed and smiled and pulled you close to him.

His body was so warm and the warmth was so radiant to you.

"You'll be alright, ____.." He kissed your cheek.

"And remember.."

"Hm?"

"I love you."

You blushed and smiled, snuggling against his chest.

"I love you too, Tenma."

The next day, you and Tenma were up early, looking around in some of the local shops. You then saw Dieter at a distance carrying a heavy bag on his back. You could seen black and blue colored bruises on his arm that was visible to your eyes. Tenma picked up a brand new soccer ball and hadn't seen him prior to you seeing him. You tapped him on the shoulder. "Tenma..."

"Hm?" He turned your way.

"There's Dieter over there..I can see a bruise on his arm."

"Oh no.. You were right then.."

"Come on. Let's go talk to him."

Tenma pulled you along and the two of you walked over to go talk to him about how he is doing.

Dieter smiled when he saw the both of you, but a look of terror spread across his face and he ran away. You and Tenma tried to chase after him, but you couldn't catch up.

"Tenma..."

"Let's go back to their place. I'm going to confront his father.."

Chapter 6: Dieter

Dieter smiled when he saw the both of you, but a look of terror spread across his face and he ran away. You and Tenma tried to chase after him, but you couldn't catch up.

"Tenma..."

"Let's go back to their place. I'm going to confront his father.."
