“you mean so much to me that you saved me from a dark place, almost in a sense you gave me light again. Therefore you’re the sun to my moon..”

this is kinda like my boyfriend that I have right now. I’ve been with him for almost a year and a half, and he’s saved me from a dark place. I don’t speak about it much but I had really hated who I was. I had wanted to constantly die everyday because there was so much going on. High school was considerably hell for me until I had moved away, everything was just dark.
For years, I had wished for something good to come along; because in fact, my boyfriend and I had actually dated in high school for a few months before I had moved away. However, he had broken up with me and we both had ended on notnso great terms with one another. Despite that, I felt I had lost a large part of my soul. My parents were on the verge of divorce, I didn’t really have that many friends (because many of them were turned against me but alas to that, they just weren’t true friends if they believed someone’s shit) and I felt as if I had lost a reason for living.
Then, 5 years later, we reconnected. And despite all of the past, we still actually had loved one another, and still wanted to be a part of each other’s lives. So we ended up getting back together and have been back together ever since....
