Rachel put the book down in shock.Reaching into her pocket, she grabbed her phone and flipped to selfie mode. She looked at herself in the camera, astonished by what she was seeing. Her face had grown plump and red, her cheeks puffed like a chipmunk. Sweat began to form on her brow.
"Wow," she whispered.
The swelling seemed to have stopped, but the damage was done. Her stomach now jutted out from her chest, her arms and legs were thicker and heavier, her thighs and calves much larger.
A new surge of heat rushed through her body. She could feel her heart pounding faster and harder than ever before, and more and more sweat started to drip from her brow.
"It's so hot in here all of a sudden!"
