Always looking for Critique on color pallet and more for a pony. I know that it looks more like the older gens but it is my style for my MLP:FIM
She is an OC /ponysona more of an oc though.

Should her look resemble a cherry blossom more or like a firework? And how? Would like help to improve this character

Name: Exploding Blossom

Nicknames: Blossom, ‘Splodey, Exie, E.B.

Gender: Female

Age: N/A (From back in Discord’s reign)

Sexuality: Straight

Martial Status:

Pony Type: artificial Alicorn

Mane Color/Style/Length: Black/charcol, spikey and flowy with a tail design in a similar style and color

Coat Description: would say it’s a red though her coat is a crimson

Eye Color: Light pink like a cherry blossom

Accessories: She wears a silver neck piece with two small crimson jewels and one big one. On her front hooves, she wears silver armor plates with alchemical circles which helps in her exploding magic.

Special Talent: Making “bombs”/explosions which the shrapnel gets used as many tiny blades glowing the pink of her magic making them seem like cherry blossoms. Usually using her talent as a prank, defending her friends, and to cause CHAOS!

Personality: She can be headstrong, hyper, competitive, but worries when she meets someone stronger than her. Loves fireworks and other explosives.

Bio:

During Discord’s reign, he had decided to visit the wastelands, hoping to find more chaos bringers. What he found was a volcano which was being tended to by some ponies of all three races; Pegasai, unicorn, and earth. He saw that their instability of how they attempted to govern the volcano, as to make sure it will not erupt unless needed. Feeding off of the sorrow, fear, and rage Discord used the magic he pulled from them and the material from the volcano, he managed to create an artificial filly, an alicorn. As her eyes fluttered open, the volcano violently erupts. Her ears perk up as she glanced back at where that wonderful sound came from, giggling as the sparks shot out in the ud’s mushroom like appearance, as if a blossom exploded from the inside. “Well, this gives me an idea. I will call you, ExplodingBlossom.” So he brought her back to his new-made lands of Equestia and taught his new little pawn anything she could learn.

Cutie Mark- As she was growing up and learning about her chaotic powers, she had found a fancy for the more explosive types of magic, more toward the ancient power of alchemy. One day, some of the ponies tried to oppose her master with an army they had created. Discord thought they seemed weak and had ExplodingBlossom take care of them. She did so with pleasure as massive explosions surrounded the army, blowing up. She danced into the air the shrapnel glowing with her power, looking as though they were millions of pink cherry blossom peddles, this scared off even the pegassai. She flew back to her master, laughing manically. It was then, when her cutie mark appeared, a mushroom cloud with 5 cherry blossom peddles spreading with a blossom peddled shockwave. She loved this amazing ability, enjoying the sights and sounds of the bombs and lights, to dance in the air like a blossom peddle in the wind.

She grows up, learning everything she can about how she can cause chaos with her special gift until the day the celestial princesses came to put Discord in his place. She had not met anypony else stronger than her master and herself that she coward away. After he had turned to stone, the Princesses found her and brought her under their wing…She did not fight, worrying she might end up like her master. They taught her how to hone her skills for good, as Luna had commissioned a black smith to create some armor to enhance her alchemical magic.

- Once she becomes a follower of the princesses, she would like to become one of their Royal guards but too fascinated with her fireworks.
-Knows of the mane six, and just challenges Rainbow Dash at races from time to time.

-Lives as a normal pony of Canterlot, selling fireworks from a more laid back home.
