Description
The ocean calls out, and the tides dance for me.
The crashing, sucking, pulling foam invites me.
The waters reflect moonlight, and reach out to swallow the sand at my feet.
The wonder of the sea tells me to come in.
I take a step, and the surf laps at my feet.
Deeper, it urges.
Deeper, I obey.
The water demands my attention, and yanks me in.
The bitter cold stings my bare flesh.
And the sky hovers over head,
Offering only a dim light against the never-ending dark.
