I want to go back, spend the whole day, and bounce between the big cats and some of the exhibits i missed last time-- and run around to catch diffrent lighting. With my new lens too.

but that takes time of course. and getting to naples

lighting is awesome and I like the stark contrast between the background and foreground which depicts the subject. I love the implied line created by the lion and how he's looking into the distance... aka title. There's nice texture created by the mane and also by his whiskers.

Nice job. I've never been to the naples zoo. been to sanford and Animal Kingdom

Thankyou so much, commentmaster lol. The title was actually supposed to be "Dreaming of Africa" but i wasn't digging a long title for it. : )

Naples zoo is nice, its tiny, but they got a quite bit of damage in Wilma, so , they're open and all, but some exhibs' are closed. and some of the areas are really shitty for taking pics. but, the good places, like, the big cats and stuff thats good.

sanford is small, but it's pretty cool.

I like small zoos, they're cosier. and they usually have like shows and stuff, thats how i took ringmaster. : )

wowww. the lighting! is fabulous. his face pops right out from the background because of the warm, vibrant colors. the comp is wonderful as well. it's so interesting to see his expression...he looks so deep in thought. and soft! i want to pet him.

i love it deir! wonderful job.
