The boy narrowed his eyes. "Does Jared ring a bell? Brett?" he growled. "O-oh... who are you?" Druid asked, widening his eyes slightly. The boy smirked, "I'm Dante. Brett and Jared's old best friend." Dante shook his head, closing his eyes tight. "You killed him..." he whispered, sniffing, "You're the reason he committed suicide. The reason the swallowed all that medicine." Dante said harshly, staring Druid straight in the eyes. "I hope you're happy. With Brett. You're all he's got." he murmured, before walking away. Druid shivered, his arms limp by his sides. Druid sighed, shaking it away and returning to find a new prey. He spotted a girl, maybe fourteen or fifteen walking with some bags. Druid smirked, before walking up. "Excuse me, ma'am... But can I help you with those?" he asked, his crimson eyes flashing as he grinned charmingly. "Oh, thank you." she grinned. She looked slightly familiar also.. but Druid couldn't place it. He pushed the thought away, hunger gnawing at him. Druid took the bags, helping her. While the girl was mesmerized in Druid, the lead her away. It was an abandoned street, the smell of old wood and gasoline drifting in the air. When the girl finally noticed where they were, Druid dropped the bags. He gripped under her chin and pushed her throat against an old building. "Stop! Help me!" she cried, struggling. But Druid was much stronger, as he clasped his hand over her mouth. She screamed, and Druid smirked. He leaned forward, feeling truly like a monster as he bit into her neck. The girl's blood flowed gently down his throat, quenching the thirst that had been aching there. Her screaming faded into whimpers as he drank deeply. He dropped the girl carelessly, sounding a thump against the sidewalk. "P-please..." she whispered, but Druid ignored her. He walked back to meet Vladimir and Thane. He whipped his mouth with the back of his hand gracefully. In a way, he felt like when he first met Brett. Out for blood and stuck up. He didn't like it. Soon, he met up with Thane and Vladimir, their stomach's full. The three vampires returned to the mausoleum, leaving Druid there alone as the others went to their own places of dwelling. Druid curled up on the stone floor, resting his head on his hands for a pillow. He smiled, being alone again as the good mood he was in was returning. Tomorrow, it would be just him and Brett. He loved Brett. Of course, not in a romantic way, or lustful way, but he didn't know what he would do if something happened to his Follower. His friend. The word alone excited him, "friend.". He shuddered and grinned, closing his eyes to sleep. He awoke early the next morning, the sun just starting to rise up slowly. He watched it with a smile, eager for his day to start. He could barely wait. Druid sat in his mausoleum for awhile, before standing and walking out. He ignored the singeing on his skin like most vampires do, just because it didn't hurt so bad and walked to Brett's, hoping his stepmother let him stay home. As far as Druid knew, his father was still gone on business. He arrived at Brett's house, coming around the side and picking up a small stone. He tossed it at Brett's window, awaiting a few moments before tossing another. He smiled to himself, feeling so cliché. Brett came to the window on the second rock, smiling and chuckling as he opened the window. "You can use the door, you know." Brett called, as Druid scaled the wall up the gutter pipe. He was very nimble and swift, being a vampire. "Yeah, but I didn't want to." he grinned, winking. He laughed at Brett's reaction to the wink, but Brett soon also laughed. "So, what did you have in mind? It took quite a lot of convincing." Brett smirked, crossing his arms as the two sat down on Brett's bed. "Well... It's a surprise." Druid said, grinning. Brett grinned in return, before grabbing Druid's arm. "May I?" he asked, not awaiting a response before biting into Druid's arm. He smiled. "Sure."
