Description Brett shook. "W-what? I..." He coughed, a shiver going down his spine. Druid crawled closer, lifting Brett's chin slowly. Druid looked at Brett's eyes, then smiled. "Well, you're turning quicker than expected!" he announced, looking accomplished. Tears welled up in Brett's eyes, and Druid let go off his chin. "I... I don't wanna be a vampire!" Brett cried quietly, his voice returning and the pain subsiding slowly. He felt the wounds starting to close under his hand. Druid smiled sadly, sitting beside Brett, only to be denied again. Brett crawled away and leaned back against the door. "Let me go." he said, a little stronger. Tears still slipped out of his eyes, and Druid frowned slowly. Druid looked at Brett, oddly pleadingly as Brett only returned a slightly soften, but cold, glare. "What?" Brett asked, as Druid looked down at his pale fingers and murmured something. "I said..." but that's all Brett heard, as he mumbled again. "Just say it." Brett said, prying at the door with his bony fingers in a desperate attempt to open it. "I... Please." Druid began, and Brett stopped, glancing back at the vampire angrily. "Please, what?" Brett asked, snapping at Druid. Brett's face flushed red as Druid spoke quietly. "Please don't leave yet".  "What? What do you mean by, 'don't leave yet'?!" Brett asked angrily, facing the boy. Druid hesitated, then spoke quietly, clearly embarrassed, "I haven't spoke to another hu - well, vampire - in ages... Please, I know you have some questions..." Druid looked back at his hands. Feeling sympathetic, Brett sighed slowly. "Fine..." he murmured, getting comfortable. He also enjoyed seeing Druid smile, it made him feel like the entire world was at peace. "Well... the digger said they burned you. So, why are you alive?" Brett asked, crossing his arms. As the night drug on, it was colder and colder inside the stone prison. Druid smirked and smiled, "Please, I'm a vampire, not a witch!" Druid laughed enchantingly. Brett smiled. "Okay, okay... Do you have any idea why I felt such... how do I put this... bloodlust earlier?" Brett asked, still quizzical about the whole ordeal. Druid smiled and crossed his legs over each other. "Well, it'll take a moment to explain but... we are linked. We didn't meet by chance, it was fate. Remember when you poked your finger with that needle? That blood sparked your lust." Brett blinked with widened eyes. "How... how did you know?". Druid just smiled, "I already told you. We are linked. And since you became mine, I got most of your memories." Brett shivered at the thought. Suddenly, a flame shot through Brett. He yelled out in pain, grabbing his skull. "Wha..." Brett groaned, the intense pain shooting through his body again. "Here it is..." Druid whispered, watching Brett wriggle on the stone floor in pain. Brett screamed, his teeth shifting painfully together to make room for the new ones. His fangs grew into the new space, and a final blow went through Brett. "Ah! Oww!" Brett groaned, shivering on the floor. He blinked, a stinging in his eyes almost blinding him. "What the...?" Brett murmured, adjusting to the new set of fangs in his mouth. He blinked, and he could see clearly in the dark mausoleum. He switched off the light, the entire thing looking clear as day. He saw the smirk on Druid's face and frowned. "Hurts... don't it?" Druid said, laughing quietly. "Hi-freakin'-larious" Brett said, feeling his fangs carefully with his tongue. "Careful..." Druid warned, and Brett grunted, slicing his tongue lightly with a fang. He swallowed the blood in his mouth and smiled, content. All the time, Druid watched him closely, a smile on his face. Brett blinked slowly. "Would you like more?" Druid asked, brushing some silver hair off of his forehead. "Y- wait, no... no, no!" Brett said, looking at Druid in fear. "Well, you have to drink to live..." Druid said, crawling up to Brett. "I'd rather die than kill someone for their blood..." Brett whispered, his eyes tearing up in fear. Druid smiled. "Then taste mine, first."
