Description "Don't." Druid murmured, sighing and running a hand through his thick hair. Brett wiped his face, feeling the light bruises on his throat. Druid looked at Brett, lightly touching his neck. Brett jumped, expecting those fingers to be warm. Druid frowned, scooting over to Brett. Brett scooted away slowly, uncomfortable and Druid only smiled. "C-can you go so I can get so sleep?" Brett asked, glancing over at Druid. Druid blinked and his smile faded a bit. "Of course". Druid slowly stalked over to the window, dropping from it. Brett blinked and smirked, curling up in his bed to get a couple hours of well-deserved sleep. Druid walked slowly along the road back to his "home", the mausoleum. He smiled, enjoying the cool, night air. He glanced up at the silvery moon, crunching on the frosty grass quietly. His moment was interrupted by a sharp voice. "What do you think you're doing?!" it said, and Druid stopped quickly in his tracks. A boy about Druid's age, with dark hair but silver eyes, glared at Druid from a fence post he sat on comfortably. "I dunno... What are you doing?" he asked, mockingly. Thane rolled his eyes, "I was catching a bite... AB positive, now answer me." Druid smacked his lips. "Delicious, but I prefer O negative. Rare." Druid chuckled. "Druid!" Thane hissed, walking up to him angrily. "I... I was just hanging out, ya know... enjoying the night..." Druid lied, glancing up at the slowly fading stars. Morning was coming quickly. Thane inhaled deeply, narrowing his silver eyes slowly. "No... I smell human and vampire on you... Wait a second..." Thane murmured, frowning. Druid frowned, crossing his arms angrily. Thane cackled like a retarded hyena. "Oh-ho-ho, Vladimir is gonna kill you!" he said, starting to jog off. "Dammit, Thane, please don't tell him!" he begged, and Thane stopped, turning back to him with a sly smile. "Okay... Only on- One condition..." Druid interrupted and finished, having gone through situations like this before. Thane smirked, "I want you to bring me him. I would like to taste him for myself." Druid made a disgusted face. "What?! Why?!" he asked, surprised and frustrated. "By that smell..." Thane inhaled again... "He must be one of the rare ones." Druid sighed and muttered, "He's a vampire anyway... You can't 'taste him'". Thane widened his eyes. "It's one thing you didn't kill him... but you turned him into a Follower Vampire!?" Thane stared at him in disbelief. "Please... aren't we all descendants of the first vampire and his Follower Vampire?" Druid said, crossing his arms tightly against his chest. "This is different though, Druid! He's the first one in... almost a thousand years! What were you thinking!?" Thane yelled, Druid quickly shushed him. "Why did you do this?" Thane murmured, almost yelling again. "I... I don't know! I just..." Druid groaned, and a dog barked in the distance, snapping his attention to reality as he glanced at the sky. The stars were shifting to the end of the horizon. "Druid..." Thane sighed, "What are you going to do...?" he asked. "Get back to my mausoleum, first of all, and then never. Ever. tell Vladimir and isolate myself away from others forever..." Druid said, rubbing his temples. "Okay, okay, you can go into your isolation but tell me this..." Thane said, and Druid looked up slightly. "Why." Thane said, glaring at Druid. "We're connected." Druid said, starting to walk away again. He heard Thane sigh deeply behind him, but he kept walking until the gates came into view. He started jogging, then opened the gates with a small creak. He walked through the gravestones, up to him mausoleum and opened the door slowly. He sighed, returning to the cold, stone prison known as his home. He sighed deeply, sitting down in the door way with his knees hugged up to his chest. His stomach growled, and he cursed quietly. He had forgotten to eat last night. Druid groaned quietly in frustration, watching the dangerous sun slowly rise up over the horizon.
